How close is Hotel Venecia Paguera to downtown Calvia?
They only took cash for the âtourist feeâ you had to pay extra to use the mini fridge, also in cash - even though they had a card terminal. Pillows were flat and the breakfast poor. However the pool was nice and there was a short walk to the beach. Location was good.
The stay itself was more or less ok. The hotel is in a side street close to the main street but still quiet.
The cleaning stuff did not clean the floor even a single time during our three nights stay, they did not even do the beds. obviously they did not care. Same for the balcony.
Main point is that the interior in the bathroom could have killed my one year old. One of the shower doors we did not operate before must have been opened by the cleaning staff. When I closed it again, it popped out of the rail, fell onto me and the falling aluminum line cover hit me one year old child on the head.
I`ve called for the manager who actually blamed me to watch out for my children. The is the biggest disgrace someone ever told me.
The glass storage in the shower was proven not really attached to the wall, it could be easy fixed but it a great danger.
When my husband came over to talk to the manager and set him straight he suddenly left minutes before and did not turn up the next day. No one apologized, no one gave a fly.
Better spend your money somewhere else!
