Hibiscus Close Beach Front Living

18 Hibiscus Close is proudly managed by Batemans Bay Accommodation. One of the most sought after locations at Maloneys Beach. Sitting on the top back deck overlooking the huge yard with a beautiful pool there is hours of fun and exploration for the kids. Directly opposite the beach, some days it's just easier to fire up the barbecue and settle in around the pool for the afternoon. This property has a massive amount of outdoor entertaining space with a very large deck upstairs and undercover area downstairs. Out the front there's a smaller deck coming off the living room that is flooded with morning light and has good water views of the Bay. This property is ideal for a couple of families with two living areas and plenty of room. It is in a very quiet street, so you'll only be disturbed by the gentle lapping of the waves. The whole area is flat, so perfect to bring the kids bikes for riding around. Just at the back of the suburb it backs onto Murramarang National park so lots of walking and mountain bike tracks close by.

Layout: Downstairs has a single bed and another bedroom along with a laundry, and kids area. Upstairs houses another 3 bedrooms, a kitchen and the living/dining area, a huge lounge room. There's a good sized television to enjoy a lazy movie or two, and a huge amount of room on the back deck.

Bedrooms: Linen is included.
Master Bedroom: Upstairs, with a Queen size bed.
Bedroom Two: Upstairs, 1 set of Single bunks.
Bedroom Three: Upstairs a Queen bed.
Bedroom Four: Downstairs, with a Queen Bed and Bedroom five - Single bed.

bathrooms/Laundry: Downstairs there is a shared bathroom and laundry complete with shower, toilet, front loading washing machine and dryer. Upstairs has a bathroom with a bath, shower and toilet. It is off peak hot water so be aware of water usage.

Outside: The back yard is huge! There is a pool, and plenty of room to run around. Both the yard and the pool are fully fenced. As mentioned previously, there is a huge entertaining deck with a generous outdoor setting and barbecue. There is plenty of parking in the driveway and a double lock up garage.

Pets: Unfortunately pets are not welcome at this property.

Very Beautiful area

The surrounding was absolutely beautiful but that’s where it stopped. We arrived to one of the most dirtiest places I have ever stayed. The house was full of spiders we had to spray the place with insect spray before anyone could go inside, we could t even use the down stairs rooms due to spiders in the bed. Lovely big house, great for 2 families, lots if living spaces, fully fenced for little ones. Views are stunning views, kangaroos and bushwalks, beach days. Pool was freeeeeeezing and needed a good scoop, house was only averagely cleaned, but fine enough.

Family holiday fun

This is a great house and perfect location for family holidays. We booked a few houses at Maloneys and to accommodate everyone but this is the house I stayed at myself. Such a great location, we were able to catch a few fish for breakfast and swim, paddle board at the beach. We easy to accommodate family for meals and movies on the rainy days. Highly recommend this house.

Great Family Holiday Location

This older property is perfect for extended family holidays with 2 separate living areas. The lovely location, with the beach opposite, and surrounding bush gives you a great sense of peace and quiet with only the birdsongs to interrupt your thoughts! Well stocked main kitchen and basics in the second kitchen mean that everyone can easily do their own thing. The large deck at the back overlooking the pool is the icing on the cake for this house. A well kept lawn allows outdoor games to be enjoyed by all. This is our second holiday here and we highly recommended it.

Dirty and neglected

We stayed at Hibiscus property at Maloneys Beach this weekend Nov 2020, and decided to leave our getaway 2 days early due to the state and condition of the property. We arrived at the property and upon entry the house was trashed. there was dirty socks , food and rubbish in the main couch the coffee table and dining table had food crumbs and rubbish left out, the kitchen plates and cutlery looked like they had been used and placed back in the draw without being cleaned along with the microwave and oven covered in fat residue. The state of bedrooms and bathrooms had used tissues , scraps and much more left around. Every room had spider webs and a few spiders in the house with the front door and balcony railings being covering in spider webs and bird droppings. The outside BBQ and seating was not used due it being covered completely in bird droppings. We contacted the agent who sent out a cleaner who unfortunately wasn't well equipped with the right tools to carry out a thorough clean but offered to come back the next day to complete the clean. On our second day we ran out of hot water that couldn't accommodate to 6 adults having a shower which was the deciding factor for us to vacate the property early. Photos of the property were sent out to the agent who offered a small compensation but left what was meant to be a relaxing getaway a rather unpleasant family vacation. We would have thought that during this whole COVID19 pandemic hygiene would have been a priority.

location, location, location!

The view of the Kangaroos in your front yard and Maloneys Beach across the road makes for unforgettable family holiday. Decent property, in good condition. Clean and well kept. Our only issue was that the outdoor entertaining area could be used upon arrival. Everything was covered in bird droppings and furniture was tossed about, cushions on the floor. Spiderwebs covered the railings. We contacted the property manager who sent out a cleaner within the hour. The cleaner tidied up and wiped down the bird droppings on the furniture but that cleaning the outdoor areas, railings, floors, was outside of their scope and that they wouldn't have been able to anyway due to water restrictions. This didn't dampen our stay. We would definitely stay here again. The property would benefit from a larger fridge, given the number of people that the house can accommodate. No linen is provided, however the property manager provided the number for a linen service in the area and we dealt with her to arrange for linen, which was waiting for us at the property when we arrived. Since we were travelling during the 2019-2020 bushfire season, we were really grateful for the level of communication from the property managers (Batemans Bay Accommodation) who kept us updated at all times and warned of any road closures or live updates that they received. We look forward to staying at this property and dealing with Batemans Bay Accomodation for our next family holiday.
