Cannot in Good Conscious Give More Than 1 Star
We can start off with the positives since that’s a far smaller list. The location is great and the photos of the VRBO are accurate.
Now that we’ve got that out of the way, let me tell you why I cannot give this place more than 1 star. The check-in process and communication with the host was abysmal. Blake gave me the door code the morning of check-in, but it was wrong, and that was the first and last time we ever heard from him. We messaged him multiple times but he never responded. We had to call VRBO support, who also couldn’t reach him, and had to give us temporary lodging. VRBO support gave me the number they had on file for Blake but it was just the Mammoth 365 Rentals number. I left multiple voicemails and a text. Eventually, I received a text back the next day with the simplest apology and the correct door code. So, I actually never even received a reply from Blake through VRBO - the text was from Mammoth 365. Once we finally checked-in, the place looked initially nice but we found the dishwasher full of dirty dishes and dirty cups in random parts of the kitchen and in the cabinets. It’s a shame because the place itself was nice but honestly, the check-in process and lack of communication ruined the trip for my group. We had planned on going to the slopes early, but couldn’t due to this fiasco. Please, do better for your next guest.
