I surprised my mom and aunt and found this Gem! Maria was very nice! Perfect for 2 or 3 people,the backyard on the bay is PERFECT! LBI was a hop,skip,and jump away!

Serene Escape from Reality

Perfect spot for a couple looking to spend a few days in LBI! Only about 10 minutes off the parkway, and a short drive away from anything and everything on the island. The house exceeded our expectations - Joe & Maria put a lot of thought and care into making a home away from home for guests. So many towels, extra toiletries, even Tupperware in the kitchen incase you’re cooking and have leftovers.Access to the backyard on the lagoon is serene and a special experience only Beach Haven can provide. Very affordable compared to a LOT of other options. Quiet, relaxing, a perfect getaway. Looking forward to going back! If you’re considering booking, do it! Don’t pass on this home.

Nice place and nice people. On the island in just a few minutes. Quiet neighborhood but Rt 72 is just a few blocks away. Highly recommended!

Wonderful Accomodations!

The apartment met all our expectations! It was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. It is located right on the canal and provided a nice area to sit and enjoy the quietness of the area. It is close to restaurants, stores, and the beach. Joe and Maria are excellent hosts who went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.

Comfortable, quiet and convenient

So close to beach, bay and restaurants; easy to get to; polite and accessible host; safe parking. Incredibly clean, well-appointed apartment with plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 kids. Spacious updated kitchen downstairs and living/sleeping areas upstairs all have views to water. Windows all around provide cross ventilation if desired. Great wifi. Restful stay after a day on the water or at the beach.

Great place to get away!

We needed to get away for a few days, and LBI prices were prohibitive. We loved staying at the Blue Heron. The kitchen was well equipped for takeout or making your own meals. It was great to enjoy breakfast at a table with a view of the water. The king bed was very comfortable! The living room had a big TV and a futon-type couch. We didn't get to kayak, but it was cool to have that option. The owners clearly put a lot of effort into creating a calm, beachy vibe and we thought everything was just right. We drove to LBI and Atlantic City easily from this location. We would definitely recommend this comfy place. 5 stars from us!

Lovely Jersey Shore getaway

Joseph’s apartment is clean, cosy and was perfect for our Jersey Shore getaway. A lot of care and thought have been put into making this a wonderful holiday rental unit. Joseph and his wife are very kind and they went out of their way to make sure we had everything we need. Thank you!!!
