STAY FAR AWAY! This property is severely outdated and completely neglected. I had to switch rooms three times on the first night—first due to a horrible odor, then being placed next to a mechanical room that sounded like a jet engine, and finally a room that was just filthy, with an unacceptable amount of mold in the bathroom. This hotel is not safe—neither from a sanitation nor a general safety standpoint. We were so uncomfortable that we ended up switching hotels altogether. I’ve stayed at La Quinta locations before and always had a great experience, but this stay has completely changed my view of the brand. I’ve also emailed the General Manager and am still waiting for a response. Avoid this property at all costs.

Bad stay

The lady at the front desk told me that the pool was open for the season when I called to book. It in fact was closed. The gentleman when I checked in was rude and didn’t want to speak to me and was talking over me to my husband. The lady told me I needed to leave when I pointed out that she had told me the pool was open. The ironing board in our room was broken. The juice machine was broken. The only option for beverages at breakfast was milk. We stayed one night instead of 5. Left and went to hotel next door.

The room was set to 71 degrees and when we got back the room was icy and damp, towels and sheets. Two room keys never really worked, had to call maids to unlock door. On Sunday, not much of a breakfast! Pool closed! TV remote too basic, hard to use.

In the end, this room served its purpose: easy access to DC with being able to explore the Manassas National Battlefield in our spare time. Staff was friendly and helpful. However, the overall condition of the hotel is shabby. Wallpaper peeling in spots, spotted a roach, the pool was out of order and while our room was clean, the general curb appeal was not there. Breakfast was sparse. Depsite being there at 6:30am when it opened, there were only a handful of bagels, some cereal, and a sign asking guests to take 1 muffin (after the first day, I never saw another muffin). We were planning on saving a bit with the "free breakfast" but that was a no-go. But, like I said, it served its purpose and compared to other local prices, I guess you're getting what you paid for. A bit disappointed but it didnt take away from our overall trip.

On a slow pace downhill

Regular guest here since the place opened. This place has gone downhill the past few years. The breakfast especially is terrible. They used to have eggs, bacon, potatoes, etc but now only breads, packaged oatmeal and apples. No juice machine now also. The room itself is average but for the price is commensurate.

Came in last night notice there was ants on the night stand so I just whipped them away no biggie so sat stuff down went got dinner at cracker barrel and got back to room sat food down on desk top and jumped in the shower came out the shower to roaches and ants all over the place disgusting nasty the tryna tell the stuff they just plain out rude and worried about cell phone then a customer

Never again. I picked this hotel as had an indoor pool. It was down due to bad co ditions. Hower per other reviews it has been doxn for over 3 months judt like breakfast dri.k machine.plastoc key NEVER NEVET WORKED had to call front desk every night..aggravating. AC kept randomly changing degrees..toilet ran every night. Broken clock and TV on arrival byt that was repaired. No vending machines..only good thing about the hotel is Ginger at front desk. Sad bcuz good location
