The motel is great for what it is and proximity to Pat's Peak. Our biggest complaint is the volume of smoking taking place right at the entrance near all the non-smoking rooms. We moved ashtrays several times to have staff put them back in front of our non-smoking room.

Hi Chris,
We are so sorry about that. We try to recognize the way guests are using the property and adapt to their preferences, but unfortunately it seems the housekeeping crew went about placing things in their "normal" place, even though you would have preferred differently. To us, the location of ashtrays is completely arbitrary and just our best guess of where they will be needed. So to have them relocated elsewhere for your stay would have had no impact on us and would have made your stay more enjoyable.
We truly regret that and have reminded the staff the importance of reading the guests cues of how they would like to experience their stay with us. To us, that is the essence of staying at a small property like ours.
