How close is Motel La Grandeur to downtown Mapusa?
I was shown to my room, it looked like it had never been cleaned, at least 4 spiders in the bathroom at first glance, webs everywhere. Ants on the floor, in the bed, on the tables (where I was expected to eat). No soap or toiletries as stated on the website. The bathroom light didn't even work, I had to use a headtorch despite reporting it to staff. I went to ask where the facilities were because noone said anything to me. The laundry (again advertised when booking) is off site and at additional cost, so not actually a facility available there. The "restaurant" is food delivered to your room, which is dirty and drespressing, it doesn't even have a window. I left my room and the door locked behind me, asked at reception, she used a key to open the door, then walked off. I leave the room again and the door locks behind me. There is a room card, but it doesn't work. I said to her how am I supposed to get is my room? She hands me the key. The whole experience was terrible. I've stay in many places while travelling, none as bad as this.
I did not stay there as i felt that it was not secure. They did not have a safe even to keep my passport and valuable things. Not many guests and little far from the market.
