This is a nice little motel. Typical of the Keys in the 70s or 80s. One room, tile floor, had 2 beds, small round table, full size fridge (which was great to freeze our cooler packs for the next day travel), small stove, sink and a coffee maker and a TV. The bathroom was large with a new walk in shower, vanity was small and the toilet was clean but old. There was a small screened in porch in front that was nice for coffee in the morning. The room was clean but older. That didn't bother us. We only stayed for two nights. They had a pool, but we didn't go up to look at it. The price was reasonable, and that's why we chose Kingsail Resort. I'm not sure I'd call it a resort! But it was very quaint and reminded us of our time in Marathon from years ago. I would recommend this place if you aren't too picky. Like I said, price was a factor in our choice.

The room was comfortable and clean. The laundry room was easily accessible. Staff was very helpful with directions and recommendations for local restaurants. The location had very easy access from Hwy 1. All on all it was very enjoyable. 😃

I booked this for my son working there. I have stayed there myself. The rooms are kept very clean. You get a nice screen room, boat dock and ramp if you're bringing a boat. I just wish the TVs were bigger not that you spend much time in your room. Always a nice place to stay.

We reserved a suite with 2 queen size beds and a queen sofa bed. We didn’t take the sofa bed out until late and discovered that jf was broken. The side closest to the couch was on the floor, the head of the bed was on the floor. We tried to flip sides but the bar was sticking up through the mattress. The hotel could be really nice if they put some care into the rooms.

We had a lagoon room, our boat was docked right outside! Easy access to open water! Great spot, not a 5 star but if you want something close to everything and boat access this is your spot!
