We enjoyed our stay. Comfortable bed. Nice kitchenette. A/c and heat with a ceiling fan. Outdoor seating. Access to state park. We liked the jet tub, only complaint was it was filthy when we tried using it.
It really wasnt on the river. You have to walk in a gate to get to the river. We were looking for 'river view' and all we got was tree views. So we know to book else where unless we want a romantic get away. Hopefully, the poeople who come in late the next time we stay there don't move furniture at midnight. Very annoying to get woken up to furniture being moved around that time of night. I know they saw other cars parked there. I am sure the people below them where just as upset as we were.
Second time that weâve stayed here. We really enjoyed our time there. Blanco is one of our favorite places to visit. Great eating establishments next door and in town. Highly recommend.
The parking is not good for elderly and the tub isnât either and the bed is worn down. It looks pretty but is not comfortable. Very expensive for all of these issues.
Well appointed cottage with a beautiful view. As advertised with smooth check in and very quiet except for the busy highway really close with lots of truck traffic. Clean overall but some of the linens could use refreshing as they seemed a little worn.
What a wonderful place to be able to spend time with my grandchildren in Texas for Christmas! I will definitely be back as long as they are living in Blanco. Thank you for making my holiday stay so pleasant!
The villa I rented was clean, comfortable, and great overall value. The only drawback was the key lock on the gate to gain access to the river road and no ice machine for guests. Overall, I would recommend for couples seeking a romantic getaway.
Stay was fine. The rate has jumped 35% which is ridiculous considering itâs Blanco, TX in the dead of winter a day after an ice storm. I have stayed here many times while building a home nearby but I will consider other options based on the rate increase and the fact that amenities are extremely limited. Thereâs a nice large soaker tub but no bath gel or bath salts of any kind providedâŠyouâd think a small bottle of something would be provided at this price. Tiny shampoo/conditioner and a bar of soap is it. The TV is difficult to operate and lighting is poor in the âlivingâ area. Three way lamps have one way bulbs and the only other light to read by is a ceiling fan light overhead. It used to be a good value but not with a 35% increaseâŠIâm disappointed as I love the location and was willing to compromise. Itâs 4:00am and the tenant upstairs just got up for the bathroomâŠI could hear everything including the loud flush! Thatâs never happened before! Maybe itâs time for a change?!?
