Cool prison hotel with great history

Super cool Hotel, its an old prison. very clean, very good breakfast, super confy beds. the doors are extreemly small since its the original doors for the prison cells. The staits in the middel of the hotel is low so you can hit your head. Rooms have very high celings. very comfy, cool history, great location.

This website informed me that the room had its own bathroom when in fact it was communal S was the shoer. Aside from that everything was nice clean and the fact that the hotel originally was a prison added to its charm.
The restaurant had some weird sculptures of prison guards etc.

An interesting place

Great hotel inside an old prison. Modern but not to modern so it still has lots of character. The hallways echo a little just how it would have when it was a prison.

Med tanke pÄ priset sÄ hade jagvinga större förvÀntningar, Frukost helt ok men vad som var illa var att sÀngen som var typ 160 cm bred hade en skarv i mitten som gjorde att man hamnade i detta V flera gÄnger pÄ natten. Oerhört irriterande och obehagligt mÄste jag sÀga och det var Àven ett eneklrum sÄ en 90 eller 105 cm sÀng hade rÀckt. SÄ betyget bli 2/5 frÄn mig

Det nödvÀndiga Àr bra nog.

Behövde boende för en hemvÀndarresa. Det hade det som vi behövde dÀr och dÄ. Dvs. En sÀng. Frukost ingÄr, men fanns inte nÄgot gluten eller laktosfritt vad jag kunde se. Personalen hade sÀkert kunnat fixa fram det snabbt. Men för mig var inte frukosten nödvÀndig. (SÄ lÀnge det finns kaffe sÄ Àr jag nöjd) Hotellet har bra lÀge med promenadavstÄnd till centrum.

LÀs pÄ om boendet. Du fÄr det som beskrivs. SÀng, tillgÄng till WC och dusch. Eftersom man har behÄllit fÀngelsets celler sÄ Àr det med dÄtidens standard pÄ rummet storlek och med dörrar av metall utan tÀtningslist. Det Àr charmen med detta boende.

PrisvÀrt boende med bra lÀge

SmĂ„ rum med enklare standard, helt och rent. Mycket prisvĂ€rt. Fint med utsikt mot VĂ€nern. Rummet bokades som enkelrum men hade en 140-sĂ€ng med dubbla set med sĂ€ngklĂ€der, sĂ„ man hade utan problem kunnat sova tvĂ„ i rummet. Fin frukost med olika sorters bröd, pĂ„lĂ€gg, yoghurt, mĂŒsli, kaffe, juice, frukt etc. prydligt upplagt i matsalen pĂ„ morgonen. Minus för ljudmiljön. Rumsdörren saknade i princip all form av ljuddĂ€mpning - varje gĂ„ng nĂ„gon öppnade eller stĂ€ngde en dörr i korridoren (vilket hĂ€nde ofta) hördes det nĂ€stan lika tydligt som att det var min rumsdörr som smĂ€lldes igen. Dessutom gĂ„r ett "alarm" igĂ„ng varje gĂ„ng man hĂ„ller hĂ„ller upp nyckelkortet mot lĂ„set, för att visa att den var upplĂ„st. Öronproppar Ă€r ett mĂ„ste om ni inte sover tungt.
