A self contained rustic style apartment with en-suite, wifi and off road parking. situated in a quiet Rutland village ideally situated for attractions such as Rutland Water, Eyebrook Reservoir for amazing fishing and very popular with bird watchers. The room has a smart TV, kitchenette, microwave, mini fridge, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. Can be either twin beds or a superking size.

The Plough Free house and the Castle Inn - both in Caldecott - offer excellent pub / restaurant setting.

Lovely rustic bolthole

We spent 5 nights in this ground floor apartment at the end of April. It was perfect for us - a retired couple, one of whom has a mobility problem. The toilet and walk-in shower were immaculate and the kitchenette well equipped. The apartment has been recently refurbished to a high standard. The large TV with Freeview and streaming was mainly excellent but with some stuttering /pixelation on the live TV channels. The host/ manager responded quickly to our questions. The apartment is well located just off the main road and has secure parking. It is opposite a pub which serves food and two minutes from another restaurant. There are no shops in the village of Caldecott but plenty of shopping in nearby Corby or Uppingham. Caldecott is a good base for exploring places like Oakham, Stamford, and Market Harborough.
