Disappointing
We had stayed previously and been impressed, this time however we were very disappointed. No breakfast just a picnic bag (no reduction in price or warning when booking). No tea bags in room, no cups, plastic cartons of milk contained a solid mess and had a use by date of Feb 2020. No lights over mirrors. Night porter not wearing face covering when in reception area and not behind a screen. Bath enamel chipped. Not the kind of experience that is acceptable especially when paying £99.00.

Very Very Basic Room. No Tea or coffee Beds hard No spare pillows Breakfast in a carrier bag a joke Not a place to stay Ok for sports folk to get their heads down with no frills At the price we paid Very disappointed. Staff good Easy parking Would never return again

Fantastic fitness facilities - squash courts, gyms, exercise classes, yoga - all inclusive if you stay here. Awesome breakfast. Very impressed, will definitely return

Good room, let down by poor breakfast & service.
Room large, clean, basic but with everything needed. However, there was no extractor (or window) in the bathroom so everything stayed damp because of the damp. Our key card failed every day, or even twice a day, which was very annoying (and no, it wasn't kept by a mobile phone!). Unfortunately, breakfast was a shambles every morning - with poor quality cooked food left standing for so long it was cold and hard, the cold buffet was not replenished, the toaster didn't work properly and the coffee machine was out of order during our 3 night stay. The staff seemed unclear about breakfast times too.....(and are very grumpy!). I appreciate this is a 'conference style' facility, but they are charging hotel prices, so need to brush up on this side of things. There is nobody to report things to, as the receptionist just told us to write in afterwards! Overall very disappointing, as it could work well with a little more thought and effort to make 'hotel' guests a little more welcome and comfortable.
