The Parsonage of Marshall is conveniently located half a block off Marshall’s main street with numerous restaurants, bars, and shops within walking distance. Our home is also within blocks of 5 local churches and funeral home. The Parsonage is a comfortable and convenient place to stay while visiting Marshall for an event or leisure.

House was clean and spacious, with a foosball table in the finished basement where we spent hours having a blast. Then next morning met the owners who not only told us about the history of the place with obvious pride, but showed us around another historical building that they were fixing up. Among all the places my wife and I have visited over the years, and that's a lot of places, this is up near the top. Thank you Paul and Ruth.

Cozy

We rented the parsonage as an option for friends and family to stay while here for graduation. Check in/out was super easy. Our guests were happy with the location as well as the charm of the home. They definitely preferred this over staying at a hotel!

Wonderful home

Four 70 year old alumni of Southwest gathered in the Parsonage and loved it. Beds were comfortable, place was clean. Two small issues: the front door lock pad was hard to read and the locking mechanism was balky. Both toilet seats were loose. Both items were minor issues.

Met Our Needs Perfectly

The Parsonage met our needs perfectly for a one night stay in Marshall. It was clean, roomy, and within walking distance of the venue we visited. Communication with the owner was clear and quick. Great place to stay in Marshall.

Ladies weekend

We loved the location and the decor of the home. We only had to walk across a driveway to eat at a restaurant and had plenty of beds/futons for the 10 of us. This would not be a good fit for anyone disabled but the hosts are very upfront about this prior to booking. We would stay again if in the area.

Perfect little house!

We loved this house! We only had one night there passing through, and we would have loved to have stayed longer. It was seriously such a cute house and perfect for our family of six. Our kids loved the foosball table in the basement. We totally spaced on signing the guestbook. Definitely a great place to stay!

Comfortable, Thoughtful, and Charming Stay

We had a lovely time in this rental! The hosts were hands down the best I've ever worked with, warm and friendly. The space was adorable and comfortable, and welcoming to families. The house is within walking distance of much of the town, right in the heart of things. I would recommend this stay to anyone interested!

Excellent!

Our daughter got married at 5 Family Ranch so we stayed at this property with our adult children and a few friends. Paul and Ruth were great hosts. A wallet was left behind and they reached out right away and sent it back priority mail. The house was a great place to call “home base” with everything going on with the wedding. Highly recommend.
