Eco friendly log cabin situated on private beach with boat ramp.
A tranquil picture perfect setting safe for swimming fishing diving kayaking and paddle boarding.
This location offers many diverse attractions from golfing vineyards local farmers markets and deep sea fishing.
Great home base to explore the world famous Whangaroa Harbour Kauri Cliffs golf course Cape Kari Kari Cape Reinga tramping and horse riding.
Self contained off the grid eco friendly log cabin with outdoor deck area overlooking gorgeous private beach with own boat ramp.
Due to the extreme close proximity of the cabin to our beach, plus having on our 60 acre property clean creek running water dams, we prefer not to rent to families with toddlers or young children.
Due to often extreme Northland weather conditions at times there may be water restrictions
This 60 acre property provides for total relaxation with the opportunity to indulge in all outdoor water activities or a base to explore the far north region
A 15 minute boat ride to the Cavalli Islands or the opportunity to dive the famous Rainbow Warrior wreck.
Only 30 minutes drive north of Keri Keri to their shops cafes and restaurants.
5km speed at all times for safety to any children, pets or cattle
Facilities:

Weber bbq sun loungers on outdoor patio
Fridge top stove gas cooker tv washing machine
Adjacent seperate laundry and toilet facilities
One double room with second accomodating with double bunk and single over.
One extra person allowed at a charge of $100 per night
Bedding supplied except sheets pillow cases and towels
Adjacent lounge / dining area with indoor fireplace
Permission must be sought for day visitors where a charge of $25 per head is charged (if permission given) for access from 10am to 5pm due to both water restrictions plus use of our facilities
Requirements:
We do not charge a cleaning fee as it is a requirement that renters must leave the cabin in the same clean and tidy condition as when they arrived
This includes the Weber bbq
When renters leave they must take all their bottles and rubbish to the local refuse station
Check in times are 2pm check out 12pm
This is a smoke free drug free pet free cabin
Smoking is permitted outdoors only
Used butts are to be stubbed out and kept in a container to be removed with other household rubbish to the local refuse station
No dogs allowed now due to past owners disrespect and care of property .
Do not ever throw rubbish of any kind into our bush or into our pristine sea that we swim and fish from

Cabin was cozy but beds were very uncomfortable if you are a larger person which i am, no oven, it would have been nice if we were aware of this beforehand especiallysince it is totally off grid. Host is lovely. The view and the area is absolutely stunning and great fishing.

Great cabin right by the water

Awesome location, especially being right next to the water. The cute little cabin easily slept our family of 4 and had everything we needed. Our host Sheryl was fantastic. Weather was a bit rough just after the cyclone but we still enjoyed our time there and wished we could have stayed a bit longer!

Beautiful Private Bay

We could not have asked for a more stunning setting for our first vacation post lockdown. The beautiful private bay offered all our favourite activities kayak fishing, rock collecting and even though it was the middle of Winter a dip in the water for our 9 year old. The cabin was well equipped and cosy. Sheryl was a fantastic host who ensured we had everything we needed for our stay. Look forward to visiting again!

Slice of Heaven

A private paradise, where you can swim, fish, sleep, and rejuvenate. Tidy and easy care cabin , off the grid, barbeque every night if you wish, read a book, look at the stars. Lovely host who made your stay that little extra special. I hope to be back some day :)

Outstanding Hideaway

What a fantastic stay with an exceptional location, excellent facilities and an amazing host. This place has it all; privacy, beach, safe swimming, boating, diving, day trips up the cape and to the surf and enough fishing to secure a respectful take for dinner. An amazing host that respects privacy and was spot on with help, advice and a friendly conversation (not to mention the baking!!). Thanks for a great stay!!!!

Beautiful Spot in the Far North

Amazing spot to escape to - a private beach that you only share with the owners! The cottage had everything you need for comforts of home but felt like being off the grid. Highly recommend staying here.

A truly iconic and thoroughly enjoyable experience to be able to share this piece of paradise. The site was priceless and the peace and tranquility wonderful. Sheryl was a good host, giving us total privacy but connecting to check on our needs and to have a chat. It was also nice to be “offline” for a while, and off grid, and enjoy the environment.

A place to relax

We had such a great time in this little piece of paradise. It doesn’t get much better than a private beach and a boat ramp at your doorstep. Great outdoor furniture set up and kitchen views. Awesome host, who made us feel so welcome and even more grateful to be there. Cabin was small but well equipped. We will certainly be keen to return.

Beachfront Paradise

This propery is secluded, peaceful and a great place to rest and unwind. We had the whole beach to ourselves which was fantastic. The fishing and diving is great too. Sheryl was a great host, friendly and made sure we were well catered for.
