Spacious Beach House, Steps to Beach


Spectacular sunsets await you at this spacious sunlit, four bedroom/four bath home, a five minute walk from the beach, and a short drive to scenic hamlets. Nearby attractions include vineyards, farmstands, state parks, hiking trails, watersports, golf, and restaurants. Family outings to Atlantis Aquarium, Tanger Outlets, Splish Splash, horseback riding and fishing are close by. Take a ferry from nearby Greenport for day trips to Shelter Island and the Hamptons. Strong's Marina offers daily pool passes in the summer and is 10 minutes away.

The house is located on a quiet street that dead ends to a beautiful, sandy beach on the Long Island Sound. The open floor plan is ideal for entertaining, and also for different "zones of activity", allowing you and your guests some private space to work or to relax. High speed wifi is available throughout the house, as well as all premium cable channels.

Walk in and find a sunny living and dining room adjacent to a brand new kitchen, with a new dishwasher, large refrigerator, microwave and double oven. A front load washer/dryer completes the space. A sunken family room off of the kitchen, with a new large screen TV creates a comfy, family hang out space, perfect for movie nights after a day at the beach. Two fireplaces (upstairs and downstairs) will keep you cozy on cool fall and winter nights.

There are three bedrooms on the first floor along with a shared bathroom in the hallway. One room facing the front has a queen bed, the second has two twin beds, and the third is a queen bedroom with an adjacent full bathroom. The master bedroom suite is upstairs, and has a large, walkout deck facing the Long Island Sound. The deck is also accessible from the outside through stairs off of the driveway. Outdoor space for grilling and dining complete the picture, with a fenced in side yard for the kids to run around.

Family get together on the Sound

The house and location were exactly what we needed. We were visiting family that live in Mattituck and having a home base to go to the beach and have cookouts made the trip special for both the visitors and the locals.

Very much enjoyed the property and location. Only suggestion would be to have a tv upstairs in the master bedroom and fix the water running in the master toilet.

Great as usual

The house and location is perfect to enjoy with family. Accomodations are perfectly kept and a joy to just relax. Beach access as well as proximity to stores, restaurants, etc is an added bonus. This was our 3rd year renting and owner Kristen as usual was joy and easy to communicate with.

A fantastic week away !

Kristen is a wonderful and attentive host ! The house was immaculate, and very comfortable. The beach is a two minute walk away, beautiful sunsets and very close to Mattituck ! We loved it so much that we will be back in March !

Perfect week on the beach

Beautiful space! Loved waking up in the master bedroom and the huge tv was perfect for watching the US Open! Our dog Ruca has found her happy place dogpaddling on the bay! The homeowners were so caring and attentive! I highly recommend vacationing here!

Family Vacation 2024

Unanimously, the entire family loved this AirB&B. The house had everything we needed for the beach and many amenities that other homes do not offer. We enjoyed the sunsets on the upper deck each night and afternoon walks to the beach each night. We all agreed that we wanted to come back next year.

Mattituck Magic

We were a family of ages from 70 to 3 and we all agreed that this house was made for our family! It afforded privacy when needed and lots of different locations for family gatherings. Its location was stunning and convenient to everything the North Fork has to offer. Rain or shine there was tons to do.Wonderful host as well! I could go on and on!

The best house rental experience we’ve ever had

Our stay at Kris’ house was the most enjoyable experience. The house is situated a very short walk from a stunning beach. The house itself is laid out really well, and is also bright, spotless and comfortable. Kris could not have been a more accommodating and gracious host. She thoughtfully left us some welcome sweets and made sure she had everything we could’ve possibly needed, even asking the ages of our kids to ensure she had appropriate toys. There were lots of board games, beach toys and other beach needs (towels, chair, wagon) so we didn’t need to bring anything. We are avid cooks and found the kitchen to be well stocked and equipped for lots of cooking. Our stay was so great that we’ve already booked another weekend in the fall!

Meets and exceeds expectations.

The house is lovely, providing privacy for guests along with spacious gathering areas throughout the house. The upstairs bedroom and deck offer a comfortable place for watching the incredible sunsets on LI Sound. Kris and Chris are great hosts and responsive if anything occurs that needs their assistance. Proximity to the beach, modern appliances, cleanliness and a light airy decor are key features of this rental.

Beautiful House By the Beach

Lovely home by the beach in Mattituck. The house is beautiful with ocean views and plenty of room for family and friends. The hosts are very helpful with anything you need or could want. We hope to visit again soon.

Amazing Vacation

House was spotless with luxurious amenities - towels, shampoo, soap and paper supplies. A kitchen with cutlery and pots and pans that made cooking meals a breeze. The upstairs view at sunset was amazing. Kristen was attentive and became a friend from afar. Highly recommend for a great vacation.

Wonderful!

We loved our stay at the house. Kristen and Chris were super helpful. The house was very clean and outfitted with everything we could possibly need. The house info book had gave us all the information about the house and area and they were very prompt answering any questions we had. The beach is so close and the neighborhood is quiet…perfect for the R&R we were looking for. We will be back for sure!

Lovely property, super hosts

Beautiful spot, near the beach and wineries, close to everything the North Fork has to offer. It was lovely to watch the sunset each night over the water from the deck! The house was clean and has everything you might need for your stay - our hosts' thoughtfulness is obvious from everything that is included at the house. Kristen also checked in on us, to make sure that we had everything we needed, in a non-intrusive way. We would highly recommend.

PERFECT PLACE TO STAY IN THE NORTH FORK!!!!

We rented this beautiful 4 Bedroom, 4 bath house with room for my husband and I , My daughter , son and his girlfriend. This place was such a great location - across the Street from the Long Island sound, plus views from the deck, bathroom and front of the house. Oh yes, and sunset views as well. Everything was well stocked, and the kitchen was perfect for family gatherings as well as the yard . The owner Kristen was very accommodating, she has it all written out for you with many activity and restaurant recommendations. Just loved it !! I felt so at home, wish I was there a few days longer just to enjoy the space. Hope to return next year. Fall is fantastic in the North Fork.

Perfect House For A Family Vacation!

I wish we could give our stay in this beautiful home more stars! It was an amazing stay from the moment we booked our stay to our last day. Kristen and Chris were very attentive to all of our needs. They were so kind to leave us welcoming gifts. All of us even loved our bed sheets and Kristen was more than gracious to give us the information so we could purchase them for our home. The house was spotless and well stocked with everything we needed. We also loved being in the middle of the wine country. Our only regret is not being able to have a fire in either of the fireplaces due to it being too warm outside. The beach is a few steps away and the neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. We hope to make this an annual family vacation. Thank you so much Kristen & Chris! All the best to you both and your family. :)
