Charming authentic traditional farmhouse of character from the 18th century, very carefully restored according to the rules of the art, nestled in the peace on the edge of a peaceful little tree-lined square, in the heart of the "old village" of a picturesque village. "Cluniac site" preserved, rich in a notable heritage (listed Romanesque church from the 11th century, priory of the 11th century listed as a Historic Monument, Celtic menhir, Deanery of Monks dating from the 13th century...), also known for its convent of the Carmelite order of modernist architecture perched on a promontory on a nearby hill ("the Carmel of Peace", listed as a Historic Monument / work of a student of Le Corbusier), Mazille benefits from a magnificent preserved rural & natural setting of gentle rolling wooded meadows, nestled on the southern hillside under the wooded ridges of a vast national forest.
