Fantastic for Family Vacation

Beautiful property on waterway. The pool was a huge hit with the kids and grandkids!We put our kayak in the water from the backyard and could row to the river.The host was so helpful and answered all my questions with a quick response time. All twelve of us were very comfortable, with four bedrooms and a loft for our grandaughters.Highly recommend!

Peaceful getaway

So nice to sit on the deck by the river and relax while the kids are having a blast in the pool. I was worried the pool would be so cold as the weather has been so cold, but the heat was on and the temperature was great. Also everyone said their bed was so comfortable!

Great for a girls weekend!

Kristin was very responsive to any questions I had before check in, and everything on the listing was accurate. Extremely clean, organized, and maintained property. The pool was also clean and a perfect addition! Deck area is spacious, with lots of comfortable furniture. Highly recommend this property!

Awesome home & property

The home & property are even better than shown in the photos. We had such a fun time enjoying the pool, fire pit, dock and beautiful home. They thought of everything from smore tools to luxurious bathrooms. Indoor and outdoor furniture is super comfortable. Would love to stay here again!

Thanksgiving in McHenry

We stayed at this property for 6 nights to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday with my family. The property was clean, well maintained, and had every cooking equipment that we needed. We had a terrific time.

Very clean and organized, perfect for a group get-together

Myself and a group of friends stayed here for one weekend in the summer. The house was extremely tidy, organized, and well stocked. We were all super impressed and had a total blast. The pool was a nice touch and we made sure to get as much time in it as we could :) Thank you Kristen for providing us with a seamless and comfortable stay! Hope to come again.

Truly Amazing Property!

This property and Kristin are as close to perfection as you can get. She truly has thought of everything to make your stay one for the record books. We came to the area for a Celebration Of Life Service so no one anticipated smiling, laughing, or having fun. This home gave us all of that and more. The adults were able to visit and reminisce while the kids played in the pool and fished from the dock. A wonderful time was had by everyone! The only complaint was that we couldn't stay longer. Thank you Kristin, you will be seeing us again!

Family vacation

One hour away from home with little ones was perfect. We enjoyed the Home, Deck, Pier (for fishing) and the Swim Pool was the Best! Rented a Pontoon one afternoon on a lake 20min away...we had beautiful weather and everyone had a great time. Perfect for large families!

Our family stayed here to be close to our nieces wedding in Bull Valley. The house was better than we could have expected! Plenty of room and sleeping arrangements for all 8 adults and 4 children. Very clean and well stocked. Beds were comfortable! We never felt crowded between the living area and large back deck area. The new above ground pool was a plus! The kids loved it! We will definitely return when in the area.

Family Reunion for Celebration of Life

The home was beautiful, hosts were very welcoming and accommodating. We enjoyed all aspects of the house including the fire top table on the deck and the pool. The view of the water was very peaceful.
