The restaurant was a horrible experience. Inside the property refused to let us have a table, said they were all reserved when none were actually reserved, didn't want to clean, lazy staff, lied to by them, food was mediocre. The hotel is in a very nice location by the Capital One complex in Tysons. To me, it looks more like a 3.5 star hotel than a 3 star hotel. It was very spacious, very clean and the staff were wonderful to deal with and very professional. The junior suite we got had a large bathroom, separated bed in a nook style room, medium sized "living room" by the large city view windows and a small kitchenette style area (missing a stovetop or warming surface). Breakfast was not your normal hot continental as other hotel chains have. This one was closer to a restaurant buffet style breakfast with many more options than normal. The dinning area was also nicely designed and the waiting staff were cordial and attentive. The lobby (on the 11th floor) was clean (smelled really good) and large with comfortable seating areas and a large courtyard with all sorts of different stuff to do, including a food truck area, seating and walking areas and another small bar. Unfortunately we couldn't take advantage of all that due to the winter weather, but we will be back in spring or summer. The building is right on top of a medium sized and well sorted grocery Wegman's store making it fully accessible for anyone staying at the hotel. There are about 7 or 8 very nice restaurants (some seemed to be way overpriced, IMO) that are within 1 or 2 blocks - walking distance. Parking was a breeze and not too expensive per night. The hotel is right beside the metro station that goes straight to the city.

Room was fine. Very difficult to find. Google directed me to the Wegman's parking lot. There was no good singage on how to get into the hotel. It implied you needed to go to the eleventh floor. And really you could go to any floor. But each door was locked and the lighting was such you could not see that there was a button to pishe for the desk to let you into the elevator. Breakfast was not up to better hotel stndards. Why no bacon?

Room was clean. Remote did not work - but servicing came up immediately and corrected the issue. He also informed me that there should be 2 remotes - and provided me with the 2nd remote. Front Desk was staffed by 2 employees - one staff member was very helpful. She was efficient and expedient as the line grew with people needing to be checked-in and checked-out. The male at the front desk ignored the growing line of people needing to be checked-in and checked-out. Many guests were agitated that he was doing nothing to decrease the growing line of guests.

I had a horrible experience with them not releasing the hold back on my card it’s been over 2 weeks. I’ve called and nobody is taking the time to help me. They keep saying it’s my bank and I showed documents that it’s still pending and it’s on their end. I tried emailing accounting and no type of follow up with proof that they sent the release to my card. I will be getting a lawyer if I do not get my money.
