In terms of hotel and location, it was great!! Regretted adding breakfast. The spread was very basic and the same everyday. If you want brewed coffee or tea, extra charges otherwise you can have it from the machine. Which really didn’t taste great. I just feel drinks like coffee/ tea/ hot chocolate should be part of the menu regardless. Infact the last day we went out for breakfast and it cost much lesser than paying for the buffet on a daily basis. Otherwise room was clean, modern. No major issues.

The hotel looks very nice and clean. I loved the artworks. Unfortunately the beds were very hard and uncomfortable and the water pressure and temperature weren’t great.

Reviews for me allow me to make the right choice for me. I hope this one does for you. Value for money. Clean modern, very comfy. But I like light and open spaces. You are in a fish bowl here with no privacy to look out of your window. Hence curtains closed for privacy. And hence no natural light.All else is fine. Added bonus of an indoor pool and spa. I am so hoping they have their indoor plants looked after soon. Sadly no love or care there. They too need water and food, just like us. Parking. $85 a night. Secure parking nearby for $12 a night. You make the choice. And check in time is 3pm.This coincides with a shift change. Work out the consequences.

After reading a lot of reviews I decided to stay here for a one-night staycation with my 5 year old daughter. Overall i would say it was okay. Things worth noting that weren't great: The pool area was cold and unclean. I literally had to find a member of staff and tell them that the steam room was disgusting. The pool itself was great and looked stunningly blue. There were no robes in the room. The breakfast was not great and the set-up didn't help. The toast station, water and condiments was in one corner and there was literally a huddle and queue to access. Teaspoons and glasses were empty and barista coffee isn't included in the buffet price. Things that were good: Friendly staff, lovely room, comfy bed, price.

Becoming a new favourite

Newly reburbished, stylish and modern. Tastefully fitted and decorated room and bathrooms and throughout the hotel. Comfortable bed, quality sleep although wish pillows were more firm. Free bottle of sparkling included with our booking as a Hotels.com VIP member, but it wasnt waiting for us when we arrived in our room so we did have to ask front desk to send it up. In room dining was decent and very quick. We ordered ribs and chips, with a side of baby veggies. Self service Club lounge was handy for a quick snack / drink. I did not get to use the pool, gym, sauna or spa this trip but my husband who has stayed before tells me the facilities are very good. This hotel offers excellent value for money, considering the good city location with quality service and facilities, highly recommended. Will return as we travel regularly to Melbourne for business.
