The Mermaid Jungle House W/Private "Heated" Pool

Welcome to the Mermaid Jungle House. We got the inspiration because when you walk out the back door leading to your very own in ground heated swimming pool, you literally feel like your in a jungle by all of the surrounding palms and exotic plants, not to mention the misc. mermaid motif uniquely placed all around.

This house is located in an private gated community. This property has 3 generously sized bedrooms and 2 full sized bathrooms. There is a full sized kitchen and dining room with place settings for up to 8 ppl that overlooks the living room and den area.

Beyond the doors leading to the backyard, you will find yourself in your own little oasis. There is seating on the patio that overlooks the quaint in ground heated swimming pool with waterfall. There's something very serene about listening to the nature and the water flowing through the waterfall.

Some other great things to know, there are a lot of great options for the beach, restaurants, shopping, grocery stores, etc. This house is conveniently located just a couple miles from I95 which leads you to a multitude of fun things. The Beach is approx 7 miles east. The Melbourne Mall is within a few miles along with The Brevard Zoo, Camp Holly Airboats, Andretti thrill park and so much more. Orlando Airport (MCO) is approx 50 miles. Disney World 70 miles away. The Melbourne airport (MLB) is approx 2 miles away. All the best golf courses are just a few miles away. I can't forget to mention Kennedy Space Center or Cape Canaveral.

Also note Rocket Launches are a pretty cool experience to see up close in personal, but if you don't feel like making that 40 min drive to Kennedy or Space X you will be able to see most Rockets flying through the air from my driveway.

The rental was everything you could ask for. We all loved the private tropical outdoor space. The landscaping is amazing with all the unique plants and the pool was perfect. The owner has thought of everything and those little extras defintely make this house stand out from the rest. There were plenty of towels, linens, pillows and even night lights in the hallways. The kitchen was even stocked with coffee filters and seasonings. We forgot about buying sugar for our coffee and sure enough there was enough for the morning until we could get back and buy more. We ate most of our meals out, but you had everything you needed. You can fly in from out of state and truly be comfortable and not stress about things you wish you could bring. My daughter loved having pool floats that she could use. Of all the rentals we have stayed in from San Antonio, Texas to the Finger Lakes in NY, this was by far the best experience. Thank you for making our "too short of a trip", extra enjoyable!

The Great Escape from reality

Looking for a place to relax but still feel at home? The mermaid jungle is the perfect spot!! If there is a complaint it’s that the pool gets dirty very quickly bc of the “jungle” out back. That being said the pool guy advised we send a message to Shelly and he would have been right over. The house was comfy and accommodating! I would bring my family back to vacation here!!! Host was very responsive and the house was very clean!!!

Daughters 50th birthday

Surprise party for my daughter‘s 50th birthday. She thought it was just me and my sister her other aunt and cousins were there. We had a great time. You need to replace the bottom of your fire pit. There is no bottom. The pool boy showed up on Friday but did not clean the pool. We emptied the basket it was filled with leaves and may I suggest maybe fixing some of them pavers on the patio because there are some loose ones in one of us tripped we’re fine, but might want to check into some of the pavers. House was beautiful.

Great and Relaxing Week

We spent a week here to spend time with our son who attends Florida Tech. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and the location is perfect for a short trip to campus, the beach, food, etc. Pool was nice and we spent many hours in the back yard enjoying the outdoors.

Warmth that dissolves stress

Provides a warmth that dissolves stress. An ocean theme pervades the home using the mystical mermaid as a guide allowing your mind to wonder away from work and other responsibilities. The deep message is to enjoy giving every part of yourself the opportunity to rest. The home is surrounded by vegetation that enhances privacy in a quiet peaceful neighborhood. The tree in the front with the more dense growth adds to the sense of privacy while helping to absorb outside sounds. The solar lighting along the walkway made it safer to enter in the evening. The home is well maintained with a good internet. The small heated pool in the back is private and just the right size to enjoy without worry. The location seems perfect for whatever we planned for the day. Golf, shopping, groceries, restaurants all close by with many options. A great place to stay for a vacation.

Overall description of house and everything is very accurate. We just had a couple concerns when we first got there nothing major basically with the pool but property manager was very quick to respond and got things resolved almost immediately. Nice Home, Conveniently Located

The house was great for our trip. We were in that area for a baseball tournament at Space Coast Stadium. The stadium, beach, restaurants, shopping were all easily accessible from the house. I highly recommend this home.

Three night stay for us

We had a bit of a rough start, batteries in front door lock were dead, thankfully we entered through garage. Upon entering both smoke alarms were beeping from bead batteries. So we went to Publix, bought batteries and fixed issue. The house was clean comfy and pool lovely. The back fence is rotten and falling over. The kitchen was well equipped, and things like Publix were nearby.,

Sweet House in a Wonderful Neighborhood

We stayed at the Mermaid Jungle for an extended weekend. We had a wonderful time and pleasant stay. The house had everything that we needed for our stay and Shelly was awesome! The response time to our questions was practically immediate. The house was located in a safe, gated neighborhood and the neighbors were so kind! We would definitely stay here again if travels ever brought us back to Melbourne. Shelly, you were amazing and thank you so much for everything!

Family vacation

House was as described, very well stocked with everything needed. The weather was cool, we werent able to use the heated pool as much as we'd have liked. Had the weather cooperated, it would have been great for the kids entertainment. It is a very convenient location, close to everything we needed. Host was very responsive to any questions we had.

Great weekend getaway

I really enjoyed my stay here, everything needed for our vacation was readily available. So cozy, loved the decor! The backyard felt like a private getaway. Everything was easily explained for us to get in and to check out. Would love to stay here again!
