Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
The pool area is nice, as is the upstairs area at the bar/restaurant. I enjoyed looking around the cultural centre (but wouldn't make a special trip). They do a feast and performance which I can recommend.
The rooms are simple but charming with an outdoor bathroom (and holes in the thatched roof). Hot water is almost non-existent and there's no fridge or tea/coffee facilities.
Staff are nice but can be very hard to track down, and don't rely on them (eg: I needed laundry washed, dried and returned and couldn't find anyone to get it back and finally when I did it was literally soaking wet - I had to pack it that way! I also arranged a lift to the airport at 5am but nobody was around when the time came).
It's pretty good value for Vanuatu and the included breakfast is nice. The restaurant and bar are expensive in general though - like everywhere on the island for tourists.
I did like my stay here but I think it's because I don't have high expectations.
