In the midst of a verdant landscape, the Casa das Inverneiras belonged to a 19th century Castro family and consisted of a cattle court in the lower part and a residential house in the upper part.
It has been restored with great comfort and taste, recovering all its splendour, in a harmonious fusion between comfort and nature, with a diverse fauna and flora, inviting you to spend a few days in full contact with nature in the heart of the Peneda Gerês National Park.
Here, you can step back in time and live an unforgettable experience in a region with one of the richest prehistoric heritages in Portugal: cave paintings, dolmens and cists, the castle, bridges, religious buildings, ovens and mills make up the history of the years.
The interpretive trails and the Way of St James celebrate the beauty, fauna and flora of the region.
