Welcome to A Little River Romance, a peaceful riverfront getaway in Mentone, Alabama. Set above the Little River, this open-concept retreat is perfect for couples seeking relaxation, romance, and a touch of adventure. Soak in the hot tub, unwind by the fire pit, or wander down to your private dock for a quiet moment by the water.

Cook your favorite meals in the fully equipped kitchen stocked with pots, pans, baking sheets, and basic cooking staples like olive oil, salt, and pepper. Enjoy your morning coffee with the drip coffee maker and starter supplies provided. The dining table for two also doubles as a laptop-friendly workspace.

This open floor plan features a plush king bed, soft linens, and a small closet for your essentials. Large windows bring in natural light and offer peaceful views, creating a restful setting after a day of exploring Mentone.

The bathroom includes a walk-in shower, fresh towels (one set per guest), and starter toiletries including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand soap. Two rolls of toilet paper are provided for your convenience.

Step outside to your own private paradise. Relax in the hot tub, follow the short (but slightly steep) trail to the river, or fish and swim from the private dock. End your day by the wood-burning fire pit (wood provided) or grill dinner on the gas grill and enjoy it at the picnic table surrounded by nature.

Guest have access to the entire cabin, private hot tub, and private dock on the West Fork of The Little River.

Most cars can easily access the home and nearby attractions. There is no public transportation in the area, so having your own vehicle or renting one is recommended.

➤ Parking: Paved driveway located next to the home.
➤ Early check-in and late checkout may be available but are not guaranteed.
➤ Exceeding maximum occupancy is not permitted.
➤ No third-party bookings (must book under your own account).
➤ No parties, events, smoking, vaping, marijuana use, or open flames (candles, incense, sage).
➤ Quiet hours begin at 10:00 pm. Please keep noise to a minimum.
➤ No pets are allowed.

1. Cancellation Policy for Direct Booking Long-Term Reservations (30 days or more):

• For reservations of 30 days or longer, a separate cancellation policy applies.
• Guests will receive a full refund if they cancel at least 30 days before the scheduled check-in date.
• A 50% refund will be issued for cancellations made between 14 and 29 days prior to the scheduled check-in date.
• No refund will be provided for cancellations made 13 days or fewer before the scheduled check-in date.

2. Upon booking, you will receive a rental agreement/check-in form that you are required to sign and return before your arrival.

3. If you are local and / or under the age of 23 please notify us before making your reservation.

4. We will charge a small, non-refundable damage waiver fee to cover any potential accidental property damage during your stay. This fee replaces the traditional security deposit.

5. We would like to inform you that for direct bookings, a 4% credit card fee will be applied to any cancellations and refunds and we will follow the platform`s cancellation policy.

6. Guests acknowledge that they will keep their noise level to a minimum after 10:00 pm; sound will travel through the walls if too loud.

7. No parties or events allowed.

8. Guest must provide us with a valid working phone number & guests listed on the reservation must report to us within 2 hours from the time of arrival if anything in regards to cleanliness does not meet their standards so we can help address the situation as soon as possible.

9. NO SMOKING or use of fire permitted in the rental; guest acknowledges that no `smoking` includes the use of vape pens and marijuana and `use of fire` includes the lighting of candles, incense, or sage. There will be a $200 charge per day of reservation if this rule is not followed.

10. There can not be any more than the allowed number of guests in or on the property at any one time, violation could lead to the immediate removal of all guests without a refund.

11. Late check-out fee of $50 (if not authorized) applies for check-outs after 10:00 am. We`re sorry we have to charge this but we pay our housekeepers based on the agreed-upon checkout time and if they are unable to clean we still have to pay them.

12. Guests who make reservations for over 30 days must sign our standard lease agreement and agree to a background check before check-in (it will be provided before check-in).

13. As part of our commitment to maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for all guests, we require a midterm cleaning for reservations lasting 30 days or longer. The midterm cleaning will take place on the 15th day of your reservation. This cleaning is mandatory and is designed to ensure the continued cleanliness and hygiene of the property.

14. The cleaning fee for the mandatory mid-stay clean will be deducted from your security deposit.

15. No pets are allowed.

16. Excessively dirty units will incur an additional cleaning fee and will be evidenced with photos.

17. For your security and protection the property is equipped with an exterior camera.

18. Guests who fail to arrive for their reservation, for any reason, will be considered no-shows. No-shows are non-refundable, and no credits, reschedules, or exceptions will be provided under any circumstances.

19. Please remember to take all of your belongings with you upon checkout. Any items left behind will incur a $50 Mailing fee (separate from the cost of postage). We will do our best to send your items back to you within a week.

20. If not following any of our rules forces us to refund or discount an upcoming or existing guest you will be liable for the costs.

21. If you were a previous/current guest and did not respect our house rules and our property, we have the right to decline your next reservation.
