When we arrived to the house there was a red tag from the City stating services woukd be shut off for lack of payment. The porch was filthy and had Amazon packages that had clearly been there for days. It took me 7 calls to recah the owner (primary contact) when I did reach him he made comment he was out of the country and it was 4:30 AM so I was lucky he called.
There was not even a full roll of toilet paper combined in all three bathrooms. No tissue, no paper towels in kitchen, 1 garbage bag in kitchen. Toiletries provided per listing...these consisted of a hotel bar of soap and lotion in each bath. We had 5 guests on reservation and we're provided 1 bath towel per guest, and 1 wash cloth per bath, no spares. There was only 1 dishtowel in kitchen.
The patio and furniture on patio were filthy, empty beer cans, paper plates and cigarette butts. The furniture was too dirty to use and with no paper towels or spare towels there was nothing to clean it with thus we were unable to use.
There were flies and mosquitoes in the house at check in.
There were no instructions or internet codes in the house and once again had to wait for owner to call.
Trash cans on side of house were all overflowing with garbage with full bags leaning against cans, clearly had not been emptied for weeks.
The toilet in the bath ran every 7-8 minutes and the master shower only dripped cold water so was unusable and all 5 guests had to use the same shower.
The owner charged a very high cleaning fee and expects you to basically clean before leaving, which we did but I feel based on the way we were given the house the cleaning fee should have been refunded.
