We are conveniently located on Merlin /Galice Road Just mins from the mighty Rogue River where you can enjoy a day of rafting, floating, fishing & hiking with many opportunities for tours & exploring, river fun activities, scenic views and more. After a day of fun filled adventures. Come back to your guest house & enjoy a beverage as you soak in the indoor bathtubs and watch or listen to music on the TV.

🏡✹ Local: The Guest House is located in downtown Merlin, Oregon and 15 mins from Grants Pass, Oregon. We are mins from the local Rays Food grocery store and many outdoor activities. Book a day on the river with the Orange Torpedo (just 1 min drive from us) or have them pick you up at your front door. We have many hiking trails nearby! From river fun to outdoor activities Merlin, Oregon has you covered! 

Getting Around: We have a custom digital guide for our guests with many options for local attractions, activities and more. (Guide can be found in your email/text with your welcome message).

Rays food place is just a short drive down the road if you decide you want to stay in and cook or need supplies. 

Things to note: - We are conveniently located for your outdoor daily adventures in the beautiful Southern Oregon experiences and offer many amenities for your comforts when arriving back to your guest house.

Place was nice. It is on a main road and in a sometimes busy parking lot and next door to a 420 shop. Parking is not designated so it’s first come first serve so keep that in mind. Also the Tap house “My Place” was not open 7 days a week and on days open they close at 10pm. If your staying for a long period of time make sure to bring towels as they only provide enough for a couple nights but I had to use one for wiping up the overspray from the open shower and also one for drying dishes in the kitchen. Another thing I would recommend is to bring curtains because the gaps in the blinds give a straight view to the soaking tubs and the front door is all glass with privacy film that’s not real private in my opinion. The sliding bathroom door doesn’t stay closed on its own and there’s no way of latching/locking closed. I used command hooks and a hair tie and it worked perfectly. The place is decorated really cute, the rainbow lighting was a little distracting but I just kept them off. There’s a little yard with a bench and fire pit next to the room to hangout in privacy as long as no one is renting the room next door or else it is a shared space with them. And to take your pet potty you have to go on the other side of the buildings across the parking lot. I liked that the place was easy to find and easy to get to it’s close enough to the freeway and also a beautiful scenic route into town if you choose. Coming prepared I would definitely stay here again. It was an easy stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was clean, set up very well. The dual bathtubs were our favorite. We sat in the tub, had some snacks and wine and enjoyed our show. We would absolutely stay here again!

I did not receive check in information from VRBO. I made contact with the owner and was given access on site. It was handled quickly.Suggest black out curtains for front windows. The sun was up at 5:00 am and so were we with the blinds closed.The accommodations were otherwise amazing and we would definatley stay again.

Kind of a funny place as it looks like a shed on a parking lot, but you open up and see this huge elaborate room with spa tubs and beautiful fixtures! It does need a table to go with the kitchenette. The owners are very communicative and we could text about anything we needed. Very pleasant for before or after rafting on the rogue.

5 Stars – A Dream Spa Getaway!

Our stay at this VRBO “My Place” spa retreat was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at ease. The property was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully designed to offer peace, privacy, and luxury. Oh, and their side by side tubs were the true highlight— not only relaxing but created a very romantic setting. Every detail was perfectly thought of. We turned on the tv “that’s conveniently placed in front of the tubs”
 on to you-tube channel to calming music which made the whole space feel like a private wellness sanctuary.The hosts, Dan and his Wife were incredibly responsive, welcoming and very accommodating offering local recommendations and making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The Spa has a fridge & kitchenette with everything needed to prepare your own meals. We especially appreciated the eatery next door “My Place” offering a full bar, delicious burgers and more. A live band and karaoke. They also offer happy hour. So whether you're looking to unwind, recharge, a honeymoon night, a romantic getaway or simply treat yourself, this space rental is an absolute gem. We left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and already planning our next visit. Next time we are going to try the room next door called “The Barn” we can just imagine that its also as beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully designed as the “Spa” If we could give this place a 10 Star we would, We definitely Highly recommend it !Thank You Dan!
