Our house is located on 11 acres of wooded land with a large sandy beach. Perfect getaway for your family! Fish, swim, kayak, or go for a canoe ride. The property is right off of ATV and snowmobile trails. Ride from the house to the trails. Explore local county parks as well. This house is the perfect year round getaway!

What a wonderful place to stay. And right in our home state. The cabin was fully equipped with everything one could want. We live to cook so that was a bonus. There were 2 different camp fire areas, several places out doors to just sit and enjoy the beautiful view, sunrise and sunsets over Lake Artibus. There was a nice dock that we could hook up the pontoon we rented for our stay. Caught the mist fish off the dock but the pontoon died on the second day and no replacement so little fishing done in the lake proper. Try again next year. There were 3 bathrooms, main bedroom downstairs and upstairs had one bedroom private and several beds in a larger space, almost like a dorm. Bathroom on this level as well. The main area on the first level was an open concept which we really enjoyed. Lots of games, books of all genre and videos. Wi-Fi was great. Many outside toys lije kayaks, canoe, paddle boat etc. Right off ATV/UTV trial which was a first for us senior parents and great fun. The area is secluded and very quiet and serene feeling this time of year. It was appreciated that our dog could join us here as well. She loved the outside and while we crated her if we weren’t with her, There is a train very close that goes by a couple times during the day and once at night but it wasn’t disruptive for us. Kristi was very helpful and accommodating. She responded quickly to any questions or minor concerns. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time spending Labor Day weekend here with the family. We’ve stayed all around Wisconsin, and this property is our absolute favorite!The common area is so spacious and well designed to spend time together. But the outdoors are just out of this world! There was so much forest to explore, we even went mushroom foraging. Fishing was great here too and the lake is gorgeous. Thank you to the property owners for having so many water activities available. We loved being able to kayak around the lake.Overall this property is gorgeous, clean and straightforward to access. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

Summer Family Vacation

We absolutely loved our stay! The property is beautiful and perfect for a family vacation. We enjoyed being able to sit together at the large kitchen table. Everything you need or could think of needing was available. The kids loved the bowling, kayaks, toys, and beach. We hope to stay a full week next year! Great Beachside Property

A nice, secluded, clean, and comfortable house with easy access to the beach. Excellent kitchen. Fire pit, grill, outdoor chairs, and beach equipment all easily accessible. Communicative owners that were very easy to work with. Very easy and straightforward check in / check out.

Camp Scharl

Great house and property for our party of six. We were in the area for work. Worked all day, and fished all evening. Caught a bunch of fish, mostly walleye. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a quality place on a lake!

Amazing Property

I was looking for a place to stay that would be close to the atv trails. Before booking, I contacted the owner and they got back to me right away. If I could give this place a higher rating, I would. There were 8 of us and we all had space. We hit the trails during the day and enjoyed camp fires overlooking the lake at night. The “kids” fished and took advantage of the paddle boards. It rained the first night so we took advantage of the games available. I do not remember the last time we sat down and played games!! This house has everything you need. I am already thinking about a summer trip to utilize the lake more and a girls trip just to get away!!

Everything we could have hoped for!

Spent four nights here with a close group of friends. Would 100% recommend this place to anyone! Very clean, spacious, several bathrooms, and plenty of areas to hang out! The lake did not disappoint on fishing either! Will be coming back in the future, with my family next! Thank you Scharl Camp! The memories will last forever!

Excellent location!

The house war great! we loved that we didn't have to look for more activities, we had plenty of thing's to-do in the house, we loved the big table, we played board games, we made pit fires, we loved walking at night to the lake and watch the stars, the privacy of the property was a big plus, very well equipped, we had everything we needed in the kitchen because we cooked a lot! we would love to go back!! Beautiful Property

The property is located in the woods, just off the UTV/ATV trails which is why we were vacationing in Wisconsin. Even though the trails are close, it is secluded, and you aren't bothered by others. You may hear a train or two, but that didn't happen often. The owners let you have use of the pole barn so your trailers and vehicles are inside while you are out trail riding. This is a huge plus for us! On a morning walk you will see deer and other wildlife. Book this vacation home, you won't be disappointed.
