I need more characters to tell this awful thing.
hotels.com travel confirmation showed that I requested a smoking room but I didn't. On 7 Oct I called Egemen Hotel 324 337 33 99 from Avrupa Hostel in Adana and requested a non-smoking room for me. A man answered the phone and said "There is no non-smoking room in the hotel, you just open the window". I said "OK, I understand, see you tomorrow".
On 8 Oct about 1pm I arrived at the address provided by hotels. com. I saw a "Egemen Hotel" sign on the side wall but "Grand Boss Suit" in front. I went to the reception and showed a receptionist my booking confirmation. The receptionist told me that Egemen Hotel no longer exists and it was sold 4 years ago. I was shocked and said "It's ridiculous because I talked with a man from Egemen Hotel last evening". Then the receptionist said "Have you paid the money?" I answered "Not yet". Then he said "What's the problem? You can find another hotel". I said "If I don't check in today, hotels. com will charge me money as penalty." The receptionist kept saying "there is no Egemen Hotel" so I left. I walked along the street asking people if they knew the Egemen Hotel but no body could help me. Then I saw policemen patrolling in the street and I asked them to help me. The policemen told me that Egemen Hotel changed hands to Grand Boss Suit. I walked back to Grand Boss Suit and told the receptionist what the policemen said. Then the receptionist took a photo of my reservation and made a phone call. Finally he admitted that I booked a room with
