The Ceiling was broken, the main lights in the room didn't work, the shower didn't work the hot water didnt work and the cold water wasn't cold over all not worth the price of the hotel room at all
Horrendous, most things broken or not working
Why can't I post pictures of this?
I need a full or partial refund, shower wasn't working, dirty, broken tiles paint and dirt on the bathroom door, paperthin walls which resulted in listening to our 'neighbours ' nocturnal activities, arguing, slamming doors
Strong smell of paint, no carpet on the stairs to the rooms only underlay (there was a lift)
Room smelt stale, drawers didn't have any handles only bare screws, the bathroom sink had a crack in it,broken tiles, paint and dirt on the bathroom door and the shower didn't work.
When we complained about the shower and the fact that we had driven 3 hours to get there and wanted to freshen up the receptionist said 'well you don't smell 'and that the handyman had gone home and there was nothing she could do, we asked to move rooms but there wasn't anything available.
I would really like either a full or partial refund as the hotel was 100% not as advertised
This property WAS and still IS a hostel for the homeless. The first floor has been ârenovatedâ if you can call a lick of paint renovated, but the second floor is empty and the 3 rd floor has homeless tenants put up by the local council. This IS NOT a hotel!! This is a multi occupancy dwelling in a really dodgy part of town and if you have any sense you will find somewhere else, I have never been so frightened in a âhotelâ
Was staying central for surprise visit to friends, hotel was clean, but needing good upgrade, overbath shower didnât work, and found out on floor 3&4 there were homeless accommodation
No double glazing and our room looked out onto street with pubs and clubs so heard every noise till the early hours
Was told breakfast was till 9.30an at weekends, got t/call on Saturday at 9am to say breakfast was finishing, ended up saying no to breakfast as we were not ready they did offer a sandwich, not at 9am, had to eat out on Saturday morning, no refund offered.
A hot night in Merthyr with windows wide open was not ideal. The windows were too high to close. Constant noise- screaming and shouting until 3am in the morning. This was our first and last visit and will not be going back. Staff were friendly and even though we decided to leave at 5.30 am, a member of staff was available to unlock the main door to let us out. Hotel is a bit dated and room wall extremely tatty but this was reflected by the cost - ÂŁ59!
Stayed for a night with the family. The night receptionist, a friendly person, but not fully informed. We were told we could order breakfast in the morning. At 730, a new face at the reception, she was not friendly, at the same time said breakfast should have had been ordered at night.
Rooms are old, windows are old single glazed, need modernisation.
Very cold, heating didnât work. Staff leant me a heater but it as soon as I switched it heated for 5 minutes and stopped working. After a long day at work felt too tired to take issue further but I wonât be staying there again
Window didnât shut, room door didnât have a lock on it so anyone is free to walk into your room. There was a open shower fell left in our shower from the previous stay.
Very poor left half way through night as freezing cold heating not working tried to turn tv on didnât work very poor wouldnât be coming back their reception staff very poor
