The room was next to an engine room so you can hear an intermittent noise through out the day and night which made sleeping uncomfortable.

Casa Decu was great! Perfect location to walk around in the neighborhoods, friendly staff and clean rooms. The only thing is that is very noisy, the rooms are very echo-y and you can constantly hear the doorbell at all hours of the night as someone has to open the main door for you. Other than that I think it’s a good play to stay!

Nothing went well here. Supposedly had a suite. The actual room was minimal…lots of dead space for “ luggage”. Unhelpful staff when asked if they could somehow put us in touch with medical help. The breakfast was difficult to manage as the help did not speak much English although most of the clientele were American or Canadian. We checked out early. The location was good.

Casa Decu was the perfect home base for my trip to Mexico City. The location couldn’t be better—right in the heart of La Condesa, surrounded by beautiful tree-lined streets, great restaurants, cafés, and parks. It’s the ideal spot for exploring the city on foot while still feeling tucked away in a calm, stylish neighborhood. The rooftop patio was truly a highlight. It’s beautifully designed, peaceful, and the perfect place to start the day with breakfast or wind down in the evening. The views over Condesa are charming, and the space feels both upscale and welcoming. What really sets Casa Decu apart is the staff. Everyone I encountered was warm, attentive, and genuinely eager to help. Whether it was offering local recommendations, arranging transportation, or assisting with small requests, they made the stay feel effortless and personal. Casa Decu combines boutique charm, an unbeatable location, and exceptional service. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Mexico City.

Loved our stay here. Disclaimer: No stairs, no central heating or AC Very walkable to many stores and restaurants, the temperature was fine in November, rooftop breakfast was great! Support the locals and book hotels instead of airbnbs!

Très bon hôtel dans un quartier sécuritaire, vibrant et magnifique. J'avais les petits déjeuners inclus et les choix etaient délicieux. Pour entrer à chaque fois il faut sonner pour faire venir le portier, pratique oui, mais un peu tannant à la longue. Le personnel est courtois et professionnel. Le seul hic est que les fenêtres et portent ne sont pas du tout insonorisées, donc on entend tout! Juste un petit désagrément. Tout le reste était super, je recommande grandement cet hôtel!

The staff is wonderful at the Casa Decu. Very friendly, very efficient. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and the property is beautiful. One thing to note - there are LOTS of stairs. The breakfast is on a lovely terrace on the roof, but it requires going up several flights of stairs. If you have mobility issues this would not be a great place to stay.

My stay at Casa Decu was good overall. The hotel has an excellent location for walking around Condesa, and the staff is very friendly, with 24/7 service. The room was clean and spacious, with two good-sized bedrooms. A few areas for improvement, one of the windows in room 303 didn’t have a curtain, so a lot of light came in from another room, and in general the windows aren’t blackout, so the room gets very bright in the mornings. The beds were clean and a good size, but the mattresses were very firm. I also chose this hotel because it’s VIP Access to use my Expedia Gold Member benefits, but I didn’t receive any. Still, because of the location and the service, I would stay here again.

The bed was horribly uncomfortable— completely hard and we both slept terribly. Our room got no natural light and felt like a dungeon. And the overhead lighting throughout the room was also terrible— so bad it was hard to do makeup. Housekeeping threw away half a very good bottle of wine that we had corked to enjoy the next day and the hotel replaced it with a bottle that was not drinkable. Towels were frayed. Hot water was inconsistent in the shower (some mornings it didn’t get hot). Amenities were completely barebones.

Location is amazing. I love that neighbourhood, it's relatively quite, Park Mexico is fantastic, and Chapultepec Park and many other attractions are within walking distance. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff is kind and helpful. The roof top terrace was beautiful. It's an older building with a lot of hard surfaces, so if you're a light sleeper, earplugs are recommended (I'd give that recommendation for nearly any hotel in Mexico City).

Property and staff were great. Challenge was lack of hvac system, meaning we had to keep windows open for air circulation but there were noisy guests making it difficult to sleep well on some nights.
