We had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. The room itself was fine, and the housekeeping ladies were incredibly kind and respectful, nothing but good things to say about them. However, the front desk staff and the bellman were extremely rude and miserable. You greet them and they don’t even bother to respond. I continued being polite anyway, just to show that we are not ill-mannered, but their attitude was honestly unacceptable. The worst part was when we returned from the bar around 1:50 a.m. and found ourselves locked out of the hotel. We knocked repeatedly and no one came to open the door. We called the hotel and were told someone would come down. It turns out there was someone at the front desk the entire time hunched over and sleeping!! We were left outside for 10–15 minutes waiting to be let in. Completely unprofessional and unsafe. To make matters worse, during checkout they tried to claim a small towel was missing. I explained that housekeeping had come in and likely removed it during service, as we did not take anything. They also attempted to charge my brother 2,500 pesos, accusing him of smoking in his room which makes no sense because he does not smoke. He went upstairs to check for himself, and the room smelled like smoke, as if they were trying to set him up. It felt dishonest and very concerning. Be very careful if you stay here. Document everything take photos and videos of your room when you arrive and before you leave.

I've been using HOTELS.COM for 10 years, and have never left a bad review, but the owners and staff of this property are absolute crooks. Paid nearly $100 extra for a Superior Room, with King Bed and a Terrace, and on upon arrival were informed none of those room were available and were thus assigned us to a junior room with Queen bed, NO windows, NO terrace, and much less square footage, then informed since I booked through HOTELS.COM that we were out of luck.. Called Hotels.com and they did absolutely nothing about it. Also found a $35 extra charge upon checkout for a broken coffee mug that was left in the room when we arrived. UNBELIEVABLY HORRIBLE HOSPITALITY. Please avoid these grifters at all costs.

Room was very clean and spacious. Cleaning staff did very good job everyday. The staff at reception and at door greet us everyday and help us with our vacation in Mexico City. They speak very good English and they have many good recommendations. The location of hotel perfect because not noisy. But it is very close to everything. You just have to walk few blocks. Área is very safe and the food is very good. Feels like 5 star hotel.

The room was renovated, elegant and spacious with super high ceiling and a lovely little balcony. The location is also perfect, nice for walking to all of historical downtown! Our only small complaint is the dispensing bottles in the bathroom were extremely inconvenient and difficult to use.
