Good location in Mexico City.

Pros: Location in the Centro Historico. Downstairs restaurant.
Cons: More towels in the bathroom. Elevator is tiny but functional. Better than having to carry luggage up three flights of stairs.
Location: Not far from the Zocolo. Lots of cafes and shops nearby.
Older hotel in a good location. We could walk to the Zocolo and the Alemeda Park. Lots of shops, cafes, etc. Area seemed safe enough. Our room faced the side street so it was a little noisy at night, but I prefer that to being in an interior room. The hotel is not luxurious, but was very interesting, being in a building from the 1700's. Beds were comfortable. It was nice having the restaurant downstairs. I don't think you could beat the price.

If you are on a budget this is the place to stay

Pros: The staff, location and price.
Cons: Better mattresses and a better chef in the restaurant.
Location: Excellent location, near the Zocalo to many thing to do to list.
Nice place for the price, my room was $25.00 with tax, and it came with a private bathroom. The location is great, close to the Zocalo, restaurants,shops,metro and it appeared to be a safe area. My room was on the 4th floor it was fairly quiet in the evening but did get rather cold after dark, the room had neither air conditioning or heat. The room was clean but very dated the shower had warm not hot water and the bed had a very stiff mattress which made it difficult for me to sleep but it did have plenty of blankets to keep me warm. The hotel staff,Manuel,Karen and Edgar were very very friendly and helpful (thumbs up to the three of them). I had breakfast at the hotel restaurant and was very unimpressed, the eggs tasted like they were cooked on a dirty grill. To sum it up I felt very safe at this hotel and would stay here again but I would not have breakfast at the hotel again.
