We really enjoyed our stay at Ontala Mexico City. The room was huge, and provided us an apartment like feel, rather than a smaller hotel room. It was wonderful to have the living area to use while we took a break from exploring all Mexico City had to offer. I was also able to take a meeting via Zoom and had no problems with the WiFi. The location was perfect - we will central to everything and walking distance to so many incredible restaurants, bars, and much more. I’d like to give a special shoutout to Abraham at the front desk. He welcomed us with such a positive attitude, and kept that welcoming energy our whole stay. Our last day he went above and beyond to plan an itinerary for us in an area we had yet to explore. Thank you Abraham and the entire staff. See you next time we are in Mexico City!

Wonderful hotel in the heart of Roma Norte

Beautifully designed hotel, perfectly situated with walkable distance to many attractions in Roma and Condesa. Wonderful choice of cafés and restaurants nearby. Lovely rooftop with great views of the city.

This hotel is very conveniently located. The front desk staff is friendly. The apartment is spacious and clean. The kitchen comes with dishes, skillets and silverware. There's a small container of cooking oil but nothing else so bring salt and pepper and whatever else you may need. The stove was impossible to operate because there were no instructions and the fan above didn't work. Maintenance came right away and they replaced the motor of the fan the next day. The stove randomly shut off every couple of minutes. There's also a microwave. Although there are windows, which I opened for a few minutes, there are mosquitoes and they came right in, I wasn't able to find them but they came out to bite me at night so had to sleep with the covers over my head. The mattress was really hard and uncomfortable although I know that's a matter of personal preference.

Wonderful stay in a beautifully designed hotel and room. Perfectly located to walk around the neighbourhood and beyond. Great restaurants and parks all at walking distance. A little noisy at night but I was not bothered by it. The hotel room had everything we needed and more for a 3 day stay. Absolutely loved it!

The building and room were beautiful and this would have been one of our best hotel stays ever! But the bed was so hard and uncomfortable to the point we couldn't sleep and woke up with back issues (we're young adults, fit). We requested to change rooms the first morning but there wasn't any availability so we had to stay. Given the high price tag we paid for this stay we requested the hotel waive the mini bar purchases (5 items at $50) as a sign of understanding. Unfortunately, the staff didn't show any genuine interest about our concern, no follow ups or check-ins or even small signs of understanding, the fact we didn't sleep properly on our vacation in the city all 4 nights meant nothing to them. At check-out the receptionist even told us others have complained about the beds which we didn't see in any of the reviews (and why I'm sharing this here). Despite the receptionist saying they will waive the mini bar charges, they did not and upon returning home the hotel manager is gaslighting us by saying we didn't speak up and there is no record of our complaint - blatant lie. To summarize: beautiful property, just like the pictures, modern, clean, horrible beds and staff that couldn't care less.

Great and safe location

My stay here was wonderful. I highly recommend Onto if you are traveling to Mexico City because it’s near everything. All you have to do is walk out your door and you’re welcomed by a nice neighborhood, walking distance to restaurants and shopping. I also felt super safe here and there is security 24/7. Diego and Chris at the front desk are wonderful and very helpful. I would definitely go back and stay at this location. The only downfall is that they don’t offer double bed options.

The best choice in Mexico City

We had an amazing stay at this hotel! The service was truly exceptional, with a 24-hour concierge available through WhatsApp who helped us with all our requests, including booking restaurants and activities, which made our trip so much easier and enjoyable. The property is new, spotless, and beautifully maintained. We stayed in the panoramic suite, which was absolutely stunning—it had breathtaking views and a modern, luxurious design. Highly recommend booking this suite for an unforgettable experience! The breakfast is minimal but still a thoughtful and pleasant touch to start the day. Overall, an outstanding experience, and we can’t wait to come back!
