The property itself was very disappointing for a few reasons. First of all I was trying to locate ourselves close to family members who live in Mexico. It was not nearly as close as I was told by the host. That I could deal with. Secondly the ad clearly stated that there was a kingsize bed. There was not. I would not have booked that apartment if I knew that. False advertising. The beds were also not comfortable and the bedding was rough flannel sheets with stains on them. Very uncomfortable and gross. When I asked via my daughter in law who is Mexican if we could have decent cotton sheets they sent us the exact same flannel stained sheets and charged me $35US. I had to convince the host to cancel that charge. We never got cotton sheets. The apartment in general has potential but they have made zero attempt to make it feel comfortable and warm. It felt not only physically cold but also very uninviting in general. No lamps just overhead lighting, no decoration of any sort on the walls and very uncomfortable couches in the living area. I never sat there. It was in a busy part of the city so it was also very noisy 24/7.
The host was easy to communicate with and he offered to pick us up from the airport as we arrived at 1:00am. The fee for that was $85US.
This was the start of a 3 week holiday in Mexico and we were all disappointed in how it started. Because of our experience I cannot recommend this property.
