We’d never been to Midland and stopped in for an event. For starters- we called the day before and we were told an early check in was definitely possible but when we got to town she immediately said not at the time we were told, but she could still get us in early in about an hour and a half. No worries until even then they bumped it back again and made us check in at the actual time. This wouldn’t have been a huge deal if we hadn’t been told it was totally fine originally. The room was tiny. The shades had water stains. One of the lamps didn’t work. There was a weird smell. The doors don’t go all the way to the floor so any noise from the hallway comes in and vice versa. A couple other rooms were using towels to fill the two inch gap so that’s what we did too. The area around it didn’t feel super safe. Not well lit. We checked out as soon as we could in the morning and would not stay there again.

The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The AC couldn't keep up at 70 degrees though. It was hot all night in our room.

The staff super attentive and friendly not to mention the amazing hospitality. I'm a coffee addict so to have coffee ready all day and FREE I was in heaven. Thank you for making me feel like I was in my own home. Keep up the great dedication.

Safety Concerns.

Very small room for King size bed. Almost ne room to sit down other than the bed. Remote(s) didn't work. What concerns me the most is there are no exit doors on both sided of the hotel, just in the main entrance area. IMO, this is a fire safety hazard and I'm curious how it got passed in the engineering, planning phase or how it passes fire code.
