Situated near the towns of Mijas and Fuengirola, this lovely Spanish villa enjoys wonderful views over the surrounding area, and with the beach just a few minutes drive away, it offers the perfect place to spend a relaxing break whilst making the most of the beautiful Andalucian region.
 
Located within a popular residential area, Coto Paz Uno is arranged over several floors, with a typical white-washed facade and traditional terracotta tiled roof. The interior spaces are warm and inviting, with characterful decor and thoughtful touches that will make guests feel immediately at home. On the entrance level, a spacious living room invites you to relax in comfort, with several sofas positioned around a fireplace, whilst to the front of the room, large sliding doors open out onto a charming balcony, filling the space with natural light. A generous dining table sits nearby, whilst, to the rear of the room, a neat kitchen is fully equipped for preparing meals throughout your stay. Stepping onto the balcony, a circular dining table is perfect for enjoying a leisurely breakfast outside, whilst a couple of comfy lounge chairs make a lovely spot for sitting with a drink at the end of the day.
 
A marble staircase leads to the upper level, where two well-presented bedrooms feature twin beds, each enjoying air conditioning and its own lovely ensuite bathrooms, with one of the rooms also opening directly onto an upper terrace. The main bedroom can be found on the ground floor, with a king-sized bed, dressing room and impressive ensuite. Generously proportioned, the room is filled with natural light, and a charming set of French windows leads out onto a terrace where guests can enjoy views over the garden.
 
Surrounded by high walls and leafy trees, the garden has the feeling of total seclusion, and guests can spend peaceful afternoons lying beneath the warm Mediterranean sun. A mosaic swimming pool is perfect for taking a refreshing dip, whilst several sun beds invite you to dry off under the vast blue skies. A dining table and built-in barbecue are perfect for al fresco dining, and you can enjoy lunch beside the pool or make the most of the warm evenings and share an entertaining dinner beneath the stars.

Situated in the friendly urbanisation of El Coto, Coto Paz Uno is just a few moments from the nearby amenities, making it easy to purchase daily groceries or wander along the road and enjoy dinner in a local restaurant. The villa is also conveniently located just a 30-minute drive from the airport, allowing you to be off the plane and relaxing by the pool in no time.

For those looking to spend the day beside the sea, Playa Fuengirola is just a short drive away, where a long stretch of golden sand extends for five miles along the coast. Spend the day in the sun, swimming in the warm Mediterranean water or head to one of the water sports centres to hire a paddle board or try one of the more energetic activities. There are plenty of chiringuitos where you can grab a bite to eat or wander along to the far end, where the bar at the Beatriz Palace Hotel is the perfect place for sitting with a drink whilst enjoying an expansive view over the beach and sea. There are plenty of restaurants dotted around Fuengirola's port, offering menus of freshly caught fish which you can enjoy whilst watching the buzzing daily activity, or head into the centre of town to La Langosta, which has been running since 1960 and serves up exceptional dishes of seafood such as grilled lobster and octopus.
 
The surrounding region has plenty of beaches stretching to the north and south, and you can head along the coast to explore the different bays and seafront towns. Away from the coast, however, there is also plenty to see, and a short drive to the north, the sleepy town of Benalmådena Pueblo is nestled within the foothills. Wander through the maze of cobbled streets and whitewashed houses adorned with colourful flowers, or visit the imposing Castillo de Colomares and discover the mystical architectural monument dedicated to Christopher Columbus. The St Domingo de Guzman Church is composed of an impressive amalgamation of styles, from Byzantine to Romanesque, Gothic and Mudejar, whilst the Plaza de Espana has several local craft shops, or you can stop off for a drink or share some tapas and whilst soaking up the laid back local atmosphere. For traditional Andalucian cuisine, La Niña Tavern is popular amongst locals, and you can try delicious homemade specialities, such as spicy meatballs or sweet stuffed peppers.
 
For the more active, there are a number of exclusive golf courses and tennis clubs nearby, or head up into the Sierra de Mijas to explore the beautiful inland terrain. Starting from Mijas Pueblo, a challenging trail leads up to the peak, where you will be rewarded with panoramic views stretching back across the coastline and over to North Africa. Sitting in the hills, Mijas Pueblo has plenty of charm, and you can wander the historic streets to discover the ancient architecture and remains of the Moorish church. Stop in the Plaza de la Libertad to enjoy a drink or sit out on the terrace of La Alcazaba, where you can sample traditional dishes whilst enjoying the spectacular views.
