How did this hotel receive an over 8 rating?

I expect the bare minimum—soap. When I returned to the desk the employee said it should be there. I wouldn’t be asking if it was! It took him time to locate soap. The other bathroom items were a mix of brands—I don’t need two conditioners and a lotion—if there is no soap.

A Mixed Bag

TV was tiny; squeeze shampoo and siap installed in shower was hard for senior citizen. A whole flight of stairs only to 2nd floor, no elevator-beware. Snuck in a $5 "facility fee" on my incidentals card after hotels.com said paid in full. Good side: very clean; good working fridge in the room; hot breakfast kept fresh and full until end of service. Staff was friendly.
