Cozy Cabin in the Woods, 30 min from Boone

This cabin features two bedrooms and one bath with great views. Our neighborhood boasts a beautiful waterfall and many roads to explore. Turn right out of our neighborhood and drive two miles to reach The Blue Ridge Parkway. Fifteen minutes away is the town of West Jefferson, which has The Cheese Factory and some of the best little shops and eateries around. Thistle Meadow Winery is a short drive down the parkway as well. Outlets in Blowing Rock and the town of Boone are 30-45 minutes away. Wilkesboro is a 15 minute drive as well. The cabin is one of the most serene places you'll find. Enjoy sitting on the back porch, drinking coffee, and enjoying the view.

The location is beautiful. It was the perfect time of year to be there. It was convenient for us to visit family and do some sightseeing. The cabin was very clean. It was just as described and the pictures were a good representation of the rustic decorations, which was appreciated. The host answered questions promptly and made us feel welcome. The cabin was extremely clean which is a big thing for us. The decor was so cute and it was very quiet and very relaxing for us. We would rent the cabin again. Make sure to visit downtown Bowling Rock it’s adorable.

Absolutely beautiful property inside and out. Amazing views and even seen a deer and her two babies the first morning as we were enjoying coffee on the porch. We enjoyed kayaking the New River at Zaloo's which is very close as well. Great stay !!

The cabin was in a neighborhood with 8-10 similar dwellings but was secluded and private. We were aware of only one other resident using the gravel road during our stay.Very cozy, comfortable lodging with a nice mountain view off back deck.

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!

My boyfriend and I stayed for a wedding that was happening nearby and boy, do I wish we booked several more days to take in the beauty! The cabin itself was absolutely beautiful and I loved the taxidermy! (perfect touch in my book) They had everything we needed and the cleanliness was top notch. Absolutely nothing to complain about! Crystal and Shane left very informative directions about check-in and check out, as well as quick responses to any questions we had. We will 100% book again!

Great get away

We were in town for a wedding and this property was a great little get away. It was close enough to the venue and to nearby attractions that we had plenty to do to keep us occupied. The property is just as describe and was very accommodating. It was a very relaxing place to be during all of the stressfulness of a wedding. The property owner is very responsive to communication and requests (an early check-in). Would definitely stay at this location in the future.

Great View

Crystal, the property owner was so nice to work with. She was very responsive to messages and so helpful. The cabin has everything you need. The master bedroom mattress was outstanding fora great nights sleep. We loved the back porch in the evening to relax on the rockers. Would definitely stay here again!

Cozy and clean - located in a beautiful Mountain View spot - nearby shopping - grocery and restaurants if desired. Thunderstorms and rain for a quiet evening for reading and resting - a beautiful break from the business of everyday - we’ll stay again!!! Loved it!

What a wonderful experience

The drive up was off the main road and gave us no problem even in the rain. Snow and ice? The cabin is located off a dead end road with just a few other summer homes. Trees surround the property giving this a secluded cabin in the woods we were looking for. Check in and out were no problem. The one thing we can’t state enough is CLEAN! This is the cleanest VRBO (#6) we have stayed in. The back yard was nice with the mountain views and seeing deer in the morning and evening. Although it rained, the back porch was great and the metal roof made for wonderful sleeping. We will definitely return providing the owners allow us to.
