SNCF train line 7 connects Miramas with Marseille (Gare Saint Charles).

There's nothing special about this SNCF line, except that it runs along the Côte Bleue from Martigues to l'Estaque. Hence the name "Train de la Côte Bleue". Over a distance of almost 32km, you'll pass calanques, viaducts and magnificent landscapes.

This picturesque line takes around 1 hour from one end to the other, and is a great way for everyone to share a change of scenery. Whether you're a regular or a day-tripper, you'll be amazed by this route along the coast, where you can't even get there by car.

Created in 1882, the railway runs over 18 viaducts, 2 bridges, 23 tunnels and 7 stations.

This fun route stops off at every village on the Côte Bleue, from port to port, beach to beach, cove to cove, over 32km... You'll be able to share in the many treasures, and the tunnels and bridges you cross will take you away from reality for a moment of shared pleasure.

A paradise of turquoise blue colours and unspoilt nature, for almost 1 hour 15 minutes you'll discover the Niolon and Méjean creeks, the Gr51, the beaches...

Our practical ideas

You can take the train as far as Ensuès la Redonne, then take the GR51 for a walk and discover the many creeks, head for Niolon or l'Estaque and take the train back.
In other words, a train ticket to Ensuès and then enjoy a course to discover the seabed.
The Train de la Côte bleue runs every day, all year round. During the summer, the SNCF offers special deals for holidaymakers who want to discover the Côte in a different way.

Quiet, close to shops, in the village of Gréasque or Saint Savournin, 2 kms away, you'll find a chemist, bakers, butchers, delicatessen, newspapers, hairdressers, supermarket, and the market in Gardanne on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. 18 km from Aix-en-Provence with its markets and 35 km from Marseille, also accessible by train from Gardanne station with parking.
You can charge your electric car in any supermarket car park nearby, just long enough to do your shopping.
Food trucks on the outskirts of villages, pizza trucks, etc... takeaway sales.
