US Bank | Downtown Mpls | Convention Center
Summary:
Stay in one of downtown Minneapolisâ rare single-family homes â a fully renovated historic carriage house just blocks from U.S. Bank Stadium, the Convention Center, The Armory, restaurants, parks, and major event venues.
Youâll get the convenience of a central downtown location with the privacy and space of a full home, making this a great fit for game weekends, concerts, conventions, family trips, and small groups who want to stay close to the action without booking multiple hotel rooms.
The Space:
The Ekman Carriage House is a fully renovated 1901 carriage house designed by famed architect Edward S. Stebbins, also known as the designer of the Mary Tyler Moore House. It offers easy, walkable access to concert venues, sports stadiums, restaurants, downtown attractions, and nearby outdoor spaces like Elliot Park and Gold Medal Park.
Spend the day exploring the riverfront, grabbing dinner downtown, catching a show, walking to a game, or heading to a convention â then come back to a private home base with more space and flexibility than a hotel.

Other Things to Note:
While this home is in a downtown neighborhood, it is also on a residential block. We ask that all guests be respectful and considerate of our neighbors by limiting any outside noise made during the property's quiet hours.
This is a true downtown stay, so guests may hear normal city sounds and nearby freeway noise at times. Most guests have found it easy to settle in, but we like to be transparent for anyone especially sensitive to urban noise.
This home works well for groups, families, event weekends, and travelers who want a private downtown home base instead of multiple hotel rooms. For groups of 7-8, additional single beds are prepared automatically based on the guest count.
