One of very few Westwinds condos with a golf cart for guest use. (Golf carts cannot be rented or brought in from outside.)

We enjoyed our stay and the only thing was that the top drawer of the dishwasher seemed to be broken and the couch could use a good cleaning and we just covered it with a sheet. The location was great and the view beautiful.

Our favorite beach place!

This is our third year staying here at the Westwinds (second in this particular condo). Everything about this place is absolutely wonderful! Beautiful pool area, great view from our balcony, and clean beach. Already making plans for our fourth stay next year! From two fifty-ish couples 😊

Excellent stay!

Loved staying here. The views from the balcony and bedrooms are great! Pros: - Views, views, views - Good location, close to lots of things - Pool area is awesome - Golf cart is great for getting around Cons: - Mattress in the main bedroom is too firm. But since there were only two of us, we just moved to the other bedroom, which had a much better mattress. - The Hospitality app (which you have to use for all details) has some inaccurate information - especially regarding the pools. Just note during your stay that the pool pictured is just downstairs at the Westwinds; the app says that all of the pools are on the Bayside of the resort.

Quiet and Relaxing

It was our first time to San Destin. Our condo had everything we needed, it was a great size for two adults who like their space. The view was beautiful! The condo was super quiet, we never really heard or saw anyone in the halls or elevators. We enjoyed having the conviemce of the golf cart as well. The condo its self could use alittle tlc such as touch up painting, some pictures were missing off the walls, definitely screens on the door as we had a bird flying around. The weather was such we didn't want to be in AC. It probably could have been alittle cleaner such as baseboards being wiped down. We will definitely be back! Thankyou Janelle Wilson

The condo was so filthy we left 3 days early!

My family stayed at this condo in 2019 when it was clean, in good shape, had beautiful decor and the golf cart was in good shape. We booked for Sept 16, 2022 - Sept 22, 2022. From the moment we walked in it never smelled clean. We could tell it wasn’t clean and how worn out the condo is now. The owners must not have been here in years because nobody would say it was in acceptable condition. The carpet was so badly stained that it needs to be replaced not “cleaned.” The floors were so dirty our feet turned black and we had to wear shoes. I brought a bottle of Lysol kitchen counter cleaner to keep up during our stay, but I ended up having to use it to clean the master bathroom. The counter tops were black when I wiped them with Lysol. I wasn’t going to set my toothbrush down anywhere! The layers of thick dust on the lighting sconces also proved this condo is never cleaned properly. The black mold on the shower walls was disgusting! The sheets were paper thin and stained! The pillows were lumpy and the mattresses were so uncomfortable. The amount of wear and tear was just so disappointing. It needs to be gutted and redone. For what the owners are charging, they can afford to do that. Also, the golf cart
 what a rust bucket now! The compartments wouldn’t open, there was no cover, filthy, there were no seatbelts, so we couldn’t anchor our sons car seat in, which meant we couldn’t use this amenity. The strife it cause between my husband and I was enough for us both to complain so much we packed up and left three days early! We couldn’t take it anymore. Truly disgusted and disappointed! This was our first vacation in three years and it was ruined!

Absolutely Amazing

Excellent experience from check in to check out. The condo was just as advertised with stunning views of the gulf. The location is absolutely perfect and the unit has sunset views. We try to stay at the Westwinds about every 6 months and this unit definitely did not disappoint. The golf cart is a great added touch to explore the property. My parents joined us for our vacation and it was their first time visiting the gulf and their reaction was priceless. The only negative I can say for this unit is the master bedroom mattress was very hard. We will definitely be back again very soon.

Sandestin perfected

If you want to have a complication free time in Sandestin, this is the place to stay. Room was well appointed with great ocean views. The golf cart was the icing on the cake, being able to go anywhere within Sandestin on it was probably the best part of the vacation.

Beautiful Condo

Perfect get away condo for Christmas break. Beautiful views Ideal for our family of 3 . Easy access to pool and beach . We appreciated having beach chairs available for our use as well as use of the golf cart. ( We did have a few cable channels that did not work, but we did not report it to the management. Just an FYI for future reference). We would stay here again!

We LOVED Westwinds 4837!! The unit is exactly how the pictures portray it. The view of the ocean and beach is amazing. The pool and beach are sooo close to walk to! Super clean with all the kitchen tools essentials you need to cook any meal. We will be back!!

Great stay

Despite staying during Hurricane Sally, we had a great trip! The beach is beautiful. The pool is great and has nice amounts of shade. We enjoyed getting drinks and lunch at the tiki bar by the pool. After the hurricane the landscaping and maintenance crew worked quickly to clean up the grounds and pool area. The condo was perfect for us. It was clean and simply decorated. Both rooms had king beds, large bathrooms, large closets, and great views. The kitchen doesn’t have everything but it has dishes, basic utensils, and a few pots and pans. Bring your own beach towels. Each bedroom has a TV and there is one in the living room. Some advice- if you are staying for more than a few days bring some items with you- laundry detergent, Dishwasher soap, a few trash bags, and a roll or two of paper towels. There was one packet of laundry detergent (for one load of laundry), one trash bag, one roll of paper towels, two dishwasher tabs, and a few rolls of toilet paper. There was small toiletries in each bathroom (shampoo, conditioner, a bar of bath soap, a bar of hand soap, and lotion). Each bathroom has a blow dryer. There is a vacuum in the closet of one of the bedrooms. There are beach chairs and a beach umbrella In the laundry room. When you arrive You can rent beach chairs and an umbrella from the yellow beach shack.

The unit was very nice as described and the staff were available and very helpful throughout the stay. i would re-book this unit again as was great.

Beachside Beauty!

Loved the beach and ocean views from both bedroom windows! Clean and well furnished! Only used golf cart one time due to cold weather! Thanks for sharing your lovely condo with us! We hope to return next year! :-)

Was clean and beautiful!

View was amazing! Nice having two king beds. Loved the beach and pool option. Pool was a little warm but, it is July so I guess that's normal. Had to figure out where we were allowed to set up at the beach. Fireworks on the beach were great! Loved just walking down and avoiding traffic. Loved bike paths! Great experience for my 16 month old!

Long Weekend

The condo was perfect. Recent refresh. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchens well equipped . Most of all was the wonderful view. We ate breakfast every morning on the balcony and enjoyed the wonderful view of the gulf.
