The open-concept living area includes cozy sofas centered around a built-in entertainment wall with a mounted flat-screen TV, while the adjacent dining space and newly updated kitchen make it easy to gather. Amazing stay!!! And what a gift to meet the owner who has such a wonderful family history to the area. The home was lovely and perfect for our family of 4. And there are blackout curtains! So nice to get good sleep on vacation. And having private beach access was wonderful!

We enjoyed everything about this property. The property was clean and spacious . Exactly what we were looking for in a beach getaway. It was a short walk to the beach or a quick ride on the golf cart .,The golf cart was definitely a plus for carrying beach chairs, etc. We also enjoyed the friendly beach neighborhood. Great visit

This was our 4th time at this property and it never disappoints. Walking distance to the private beach and they supply a golf cart too!! Looking forward to our next visit.

We Road our Hurricane Sally in the house with no issues at all. Would come again. The dogs loved it too.

Great location - Nice Home!

Overall, had a wonderful stay at this home. First, the home was clean, spacious and as advertised. Second, the check-in and check-out process was very smooth. Most importantly, the location was perfect, just a three block walk to private beach. The golf cart was PERFECT to bring all the beach supplies and toys and avoid the walk (which wasn't bad anyway!). I would definitely stay here again.

Home away from home!

Clean with all the comforts of home. Golf cart was a nice amenity. Made going to the beach much easier. A gas grill would be a nice add. Charcoal grill is a bit messy. We are already planning next years visit to the Hideout.

Fun in Destin

We enjoyed out stay at the Hideout. Be prepared, you must bring everything but pans to cook. There are no spices, coffee or supplies and only 1 roll of toilet paper. They did furnish towels for bathroom but no beach towels. No hair blow dryers. There is a washer and dryer. Grill is charcoal only. But the house is nice and roomy. We enjoyed the golf cart and the beach. Even though pet friendly there is no fenced yard and dogs are not allowed on the beach in Destin. All in all once you know what you have, it was a great place to stay.

Relaxing

We enjoyed our visit here. The house is very clean, and roomy. Having a golf cart was a huge plus. The walk to the beach with all your gear is doable but the cart was just the icing on the cake. All the movies that are there was nice if you have little ones. The games and puzzles for a rainy day would be nice. If you want a home away from home with all the comforts The Hideout has them for you.
