Welcome to Captain's Quarters - a new, state-of-the-art luxury vacation home nestled in the heart of The Resort! This magnificent 4-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom getaway features an open-concept floor plan, a gourmet kitchen, a lanai-covered indoor/outdoor pool, a fully furnished patio, a full outdoor kitchen, and a separate climate-controlled bunkhouse. Our home boasts Chihuly-inspired lighting, handmade custom cabinetry, plush furnishings, designer dĂ©cor and two 6-seat golf carts. And with private beach access just a quick golf cart ride away, you’re never far from the sugar white sand and emerald-green waters of the Gulf of Mexico!

The fully equipped kitchen is a culinary enthusiast's dream, featuring an oversized island, top-of-the-line Viking appliances, a butler’s pantry, and all the cookware and dinnerware needed to prepare and serve a gourmet meal. And with a 6-burner Viking gas range, a Viking double oven with French door opening, Viking Microwave, Viking dishwasher, French door Viking refrigerator with undercarriage freezer, a Breville air fryer, and a VitaMix mixer, preparing your favorite meal is easier than ever before.

Designed with relaxation in mind, the luxurious living area features plush furnishings, a smart TV, and an electric and glass fireplace. There is a spacious wet bar equipped with a Viking pellet ice maker and sliding glass doors leading to the outdoor area.

The heart of this home lies in its entertainment and recreation areas. The lanai-covered indoor/outdoor pool invites you to take a refreshing dip, while poolside chaise loungers beckon you to take a seat and unwind. You'll find an inviting fireplace lounge and a full outdoor kitchen, ideal for preparing delightful meals while enjoying the company of family and friends. Adults and children alike can engage in some friendly competition with our Spider dart board, classic 2-player cocktail table arcade and regulation-sized foosball table. And with a full-size swing set in the backyard, there is entertainment for those of all ages!
*Outdoor griddle is unavailable until further notice. Grill is available.

The first of two primary bedrooms is furnished with a luxurious king bed and offers direct access to the pool and lanai area. The ensuite primary bathroom features a heat-holding freestanding tub, a luminous shower with 6 separate shower heads and a wall-length sitting bench. With double vanities and dual makeup counters, guests can enjoy the utmost in luxury and comfort. The second primary bedroom also offers a cozy king bed and features an en-suite bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower. Both the third and fourth bedrooms are furnished with comfortable queen beds and offer convenience to a hallway bathroom with a tub/shower combination. The separate climate-controlled bunkhouse offers a queen and twin bed, a 43-inch TV with DVD player, a compact refrigerator, and a tall top table with 4 stools.

There is a full-size washer and dryer in the laundry room and a half bath located in the outdoor area. Guests can explore the resort on our 2 beach bikes or zip around with ease in two 6-seat golf carts. This beautiful residence is located just 7-10 minutes from the beach by golf cart and minutes from the area’s best shopping, dining, and entertainment. The pool may be heated for an additional $60/night, and must be purchased for the entire length of stay. The spa may be heated for $35/night. 3 days prior of arrival is the latest this may be scheduled.

The Resort offers a wealth of activities and amenities to enhance your vacation experience. Enjoy over seven miles of pristine beaches and a beautiful bay front. The Resort also features a marina, fitness center, spa 15 world-class tennis courts, 4 championship golf courses and celebrity chef dining options.

We had a fair amount of issues. We couldn't open the door to the back unit so somebody had to come. It didn't line up well so once they opened it we couldn't lock it the entire time we were there. The hot tub remote only worked from time to time, we continued to reset it and sometime it worked and some time it didn't. The tires on the golf carts were bare and one blew the 2nd day we were there. The other golf cart had no breaks and we had to wait days until someone came to fix it even though they told us they were coming earlier. They gave us 100 back for not having a golf cart for half the week

The house was absolutely perfect for our stay. Plenty of room for everyone to be very comfortable. The two kitchens were well-equipped. The heated pool and hot tub were thoroughly enjoyed every day. The heat issue in the backyard house was fixed promptly. We loved using the 2 golf carts to get around. We highly recommend staying here!

The location was convenient and the golf carts made getting around a breeze — including the beach. Loved the pool and the lanai. Only thing I missed with the pool heater was an extra 60/day - including the hot tub - and we need a 3-day advanced notice.

It could have been better.

The house would be 5 but overall experience is 3. We chose this home for living space, pool, and golf carts. We don’t like leaving negative reviews so we met with the property manager day 3 or so & were told they would make it better. 1st – paid for heated pool and notified on way down it was not working and went 1st 4 days without it. We understand this happens but they didn’t check the heater till the day we arrived. Found flat tires on the golf carts & bicycles and instructed to use a hand pump & had to use every other day. They finally replaced that tire. The 2nd golf cart had nearly threadbare tires and a broken front seat. The front wheel locked up and left us stranded. This was fixed 2 days later we had to pick it up. A few days later the cart again left us stranded as the same tire blew. They replaced this tire after a day or so but left the other bare tires on the cart. A shower knob in the master bath fell off when turned on, a closet rod was broken and a cover of a light fixture fell from the ceiling. The outdoor lanai has a great set up but had neglected items such as rusted chairs around the bar. The outside refrigerator froze up the day we arrived. All in all, it is a great house & one of the few 5-bedroom homes for rent. It could be the best rental in the area but our experience was disappointing. All the issues could have been avoided as they were very obvious with a casual inspection and a desire to stay ahead of problems.

Wonderful stay!

This house is absolutely fabulous. The kitchen is fully stocked with amazing appliances, the master bath was gorgeous, the outdoor area was a great place to hang out for the entire family. We have stayed in the Sandestin resort many times and we love the area. Finding this gem was an extra surprise. The two golf carts made it easy to get to the Village or beach quickly for the entire family. We had a few minor issues along the trip but management responded immediately every time and had someone out right away to resolve a couple small problems. Highly appreciate their prompt response times and resolution of issues so quickly! Would highly recommend this property and this management to anyone staying in the area!

Amazing property that exceeds expectations

We are frequent VRBO renters and rarely does a property exceed your expectations (ours are high). This property checks all of the boxes you look for. Spotless, good communication, activities for all ages, great location. Rain or shine the pool is open and amazing times to be had. However it really is the small details that make this property so special. High end Viking appliances, decor and finishings are all top of the line. Amazing cookware and small appliances. Extra high ceilings. The home is perfectly configured to allow plenty of space for the family. The master suite is beyond amazing and walks out to the pool area. Coffee pot just for the master! The outdoor apartment was perfect for our teenage son. We spent nights having family fun while the kids swam in the pool. Two golf carts were perfect as we could split up. This is one of the best properties we have visited and will definitely be back!

Beautiful property

Overall the property is great! We did have a few challenges at check in. Upon arrival one golf cart had a flat tire that could not be fixed until the next day. The outdoor shade was broken but this did not affect our stay. The outdoor freezer needed to be defrosted. After defrosting it worked well. A few suggestions would be to add black out curtains to the rooms so the sun doesn’t come right in the windows at sunrise. The outdoor chairs are rusted and should be replaced. Replace the remote to the spa as it doesn’t work well. The batteries in the outdoor fan controller need to be replaced. Overall we enjoyed the property.

Best home we’ve ever stayed in

Me and my family truly enjoyed our stay at this home. The home was very clean, the amenities were amazing and convenient for our family, and the property manager was very nice and always answered my questions in a timely manner. I honestly have no complaints. However one of my friends that was staying in the room by the front door said it was so bright early in the morning when the sun came up, so my suggestion would be to get curtains that aren’t sheer or even black out curtains for that room. Also, maybe a map or a list of things to do on the resort would be helpful as well. We enjoyed riding the golf cart through the resort sight seeing. It looked like there were things to do or places to walk around. Overall I had a great time and would definitely book this place again!

Awesome Property

Awesome property! Absolutely stunning decor and amenities, along with a great location. The appliances are top notch and everything was very clean and organized. The master bedroom is a “must see”. The lanai is perfect for family entertainment and is designed perfectly. I will definitely return to the area and will not consider staying anywhere else.
