Beautifully decorated unit. Great location. Carpet needs to be cleaned and hot water heater small for 4 people. Westwinds needs to watch about 1 family staying there and giving codes to 25 of their closest friends.

I don’t know how in the world this place received 5 star reviews. It’s not clean, the kitchen appliances are old and very used. There is barely enough dishes and utensils for a family of 4. Plus missing basics like a cookie sheet and wine glasses. The dryer doesn’t turn off on it’s own and the lint screen is broken and disgusting. The furniture is also very worn and old. No blankets were provided for the beds. Main bedroom had only one nightstand, had to use the patio table from outside. The shower in main missing a light cover. Overall very unimpressed with this rental and would not reccomend.

Perfect weather entire week. Emeril was at Emeril ‘s and we were seated next to the kitchen. No luck deep sea fishing. Beach chairs were well used.

Girls Trip

My daughters, granddaughter and I needed a quick getaway and this fit the bill perfectly! Pros: We were able to get to the beach in 3 minutes, stroller and all. The condo had a perfect layout offering enough personal space for everyone to enjoy some “me” time. Cons: The unit wasn’t ready until 5pm. We checked in at 3:45 and was told we were “early for the 4p check in and the unit wasn’t ready”. We had groceries that needed to be put away and and a cranky infant that had enough of the 4.5 hr drive. So this delay put a major damper on the day. At 4:30 I asked what the estimated check in time would be. The reply was a automated text that said it wasn’t ready and i’d receive a text when it was. Once we checked in, it felt like we’d lost a whole day, since it was dark and we couldn’t go to the beach. Outside of check in, the only con was the annoying creaky bed in one of the rooms. All in all, this was a good trip and I’d book again.

Beautiful Views!!

We have stayed in many Westwind units and this one was updated, clean, and had good views! Only cons was that the master bed was uncomfortable and didn't have very many utensils or cookware. Very minor issues would diffintely recommend Westwinds condos they have many amenities. The pool, hot tub, and snack shack were always clean and ready for use! Short walk to the beach and also felt very safe as the SandDestin resort is gated!

Great Location

The location of this condo was convenient and the grounds were well kept. Easy access to the beach. For those not familiar with the beach set up, there is a certain area that you have to set your chairs up if you are not renting a chair/umbrella and if you are not in that area, they will make you move. The only negatives were we had two couples staying in the condo and the water heater wasn't large enough to accommodate us taking showers around the same time, so we had to plan accordingly. We brought our own pillows, but apparently the pillows in the guest room were flat. They do provide dish washer detergent, but I would recommend bringing paper towels, dish soap and either a sponge or dishcloth for lite cleaning. Some places will provide a little starter kit.

The resort and location of the property was fantastic. It was very close to the pool and to the beach. The property could use a little updating. There was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. Also the mattress on the pullout bed was very worn. My biggest complaint was the dishwasher never worked. I did contact the property manager several times we never heard back from them.

Relaxing stay in beautiful condo

The condo was clean comfortable and the layout is perfect. The balcony overlooks and beach and it was pleasant to sit out there any time of day. Walking paths along the resort are useful for walking and jogging. Parking is easy, the trolly is available. Shopping is plentiful and less than a mile away. Hope to be back in 2021.

Beautiful, Wonderful Condo

Absolutely wonderful condo amenities! The location is right on the beach...just a few steps to the hot tub, pool (the pool has a bar and snacks). Miramar Beach is gorgeous...one of the most beautiful beaches we have seen! We have been using VRBO for many years, and this rental was by far our best ever! The king size beds are soooo comfortable...each bedroom has full baths. The kitchen is spacious and has everything you need. The washer/dryer were a great addition also. We truly enjoyed our short stay and will return to Sandestin Beach and Golf Resort. The Village (across the street) is wonderful for families and has many excellent restaurants, local music and walking to the marina for boat charters and water toy rentals!
