The house features five identical apartments in the heart of Polače, designed for simplicity and comfort. Each apartment boasts a spacious balcony or terrace with stunning sea views, where guests love to relax and enjoy the sunsets.To get to the apartment you will have to climb 20 stairs.The apartments include two bedrooms with double beds, a sofa bed in the living room for a fifth guest, two bathrooms with showers, and a fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator, stove, oven, and dishwasher. A cozy dining area and living room open onto the balcony, offering the perfect space to unwind.Just a minute’s walk away, our family-run restaurant "Ogigija" sits by the sea. Since 1974, we’ve been serving Mediterranean dishes made with fresh ingredients, and we take pride in the joy of our satisfied guests. Enjoy a meal by the water as you savor the warm summer evenings.Beach Paljevina is short 7 minute walk from the property and grocery store is in the other way, just 4 minute walk.

Mljet, the southernmost Adriatic island in Dalmatia, is renowned for its lush greenery, crystal-clear waters, and sandy shores. Its National Park, located on the western side, covers 54 km² and offers scenic walking and cycling trails, ancient ruins, and saltwater lakes, with entrances in Polače and Pomena.Pomena, Polače, and Sobra are the island’s main villages, offering supermarkets, restaurants, ATMs, and travel services. Polače is a popular spot for sailors, with several eateries, bike rentals, and ancient Roman ruins, including a 5th-century palace, one of the largest Roman structures in Dalmatia. The apartment is great, as the photos show, very comfortable for a family of four. The views from the balcony are spectacular. Polače is a quiet and a comfortable place. The location is perfect to explore the National Park and the rest of the island. Highly recommended.

Polace was my favorite place in Croatia. Tiny, charming, quiet town. Easy access by bike to the two lakes. Crystal clear water, beautiful views from the balcony. Super clean and restful place with tons of kitchen amenities and beach towels. Very friendly host. I can’t recommend this place enough. Great for a family of 4.

what a relaxing stay! we stayed at the end of the season and it was so lovely. beautiful views. the host was welcoming and showed me around, and then helpfully found out some information for us. there was milk, bread, chocolates and other treats which was super nice. 3 minutes away there is a shop open late. the water is right opposite the house and we loved it.

Great stay!

The hosts were super friendly and helpful, really lovely people who live in the apartment block in case you need anything. Location is amazing for exploring the National park! Restaurants, market and bakery very close by. The apartment is spacious and even nicer than the photos. We definitely recommend and would love to come back! :)

Lovely and comfortable place for stay!

Thanks for everything! Our trip to Mljet was great and the apartment was really nice with a great view !!! Aside from a small water heater issue everything was great. We really enjoyed the terrace and the view on the port. Such a great place to stay !!!! I highly recommend

Beautiful apartment with a balcony overlooking the cove. The host was so kind and accommodating. They shared info about the ferry and answered my questions about it; then they let us store our luggage on the day we left while we waited for the ferry. Excellence across the board!

Absolutely beautiful view from the balcony of the bay and the Marina. The bakery and supermarket were very close by. The beds were very comfortable. Sandra was a friendly host. Less than 2km walk to the lakes. Thanks for letting us stay.

High-end vacation!

The apartment was very suitable for our two night stay in Polace to visit the National Park. The owners live downstairs and seemed nice though we met them only briefly. The location is beautiful by the bay and next to nice restaurants. Unfortunately we had difficulties checking in as we didn’t have the full address and there was nobody to meet us. There was also an odor in the other bathroom.

Lovely and comfortable place for stay!

What a fantastic view I could have sat there all day long on that balcony. Polace is a real gem of a place highly recommended if you want to visit the park. 25-30 minute walk to the lakes where you can get ferry and hire bikes. I’d recommend this over hiring ebikes unless you’re very confident as roads are narrow and steep to the park and shared with normal traffic. Around lake is super dreamy and flat. There is a shop at the main ferry stop plus restaurant on the island which is good. Apartment has all the basics covered including washing machine, salt, sugar, coffee. It isn’t fancy but comfortable and newly done. The restaurant owned by the host family is super delicious and the hosts are lovely and friendly.

Major-league holiday!

We loved our six nights at the apartment. Jelena was proactive in communicating with me before and during the stay. Sandra was very hospitable and helpful throughout our time at the apartment. It is well-appointed, comfortable and the views from the deck are amazing! We spent a lot of time on the deck watching boats go by. Polace is much quieter than the neighboring town of Pomena and we were pleased that we'd chosen that location. The apartment was very quiet at night and we appreciated the air conditioning when the weather got hot. Visiting the national park and salt water lakes was amazing. There are many locations to swim around the island. There's a Studenac grocery store two minutes walk from the apartment with a limited selection of items, which is very convenient. It was a very relaxing time for us and we hope to return again one day!

Special place!

Emplacement parfait, vue incroyable sur le port avec un balcon très appréciable, appartement propre et spacieux. Jelena est très accueillante et a très gentiment accepté de stocker nos bagages plus tôt lors de notre arrivée et plus tard lors de notre départ, ce qui s’est avéré très utile pour profiter au maximum de notre séjour sur la magnifique île de Mjlet. Seul petit bémol du séjour, la vaisselle prévue était un peu juste pour 4 personnes et quelques ustensiles/plats supplémentaires auraient été appréciables (type presse agrumes, saladiers, économe, cafetière…)
