Checking in, staff was abrupt and surly. Facility was updated, but aged. Broken closet hallway door that kept swinging open in front of the room door itself. Black stains on the curtains from God-knows what. Furniture was worn. Staff was more interested in hanging out watching YouTube at the front desk... i know because i was down there waiting for a food delivery and directly observed them. Not hot tub, outdoor pool, stale breakfast that didn’t satisfy so we headed for McDonald's... Just not what I have come to expect from La Quinta. I will not stay here again.

Robert, I am sorry your stay wasn't what you expected. I will talk with the front desk staff about their behavior but if you were that dissatisfied you should have asked for a manager. We would have helped you. Most of what you said about our hotel isn't true anyway. Thanks for the review.

First off, all the front desk staff were smiley and friendly. In addition to that, they had great suggestions on places to eat and things to do when we asked for information. The continental breakfast was delicious and had a great variety of items. The staff even went above and beyond and opened breakfast early when they noticed people had excursion reservations at an early time. The room was clean, and refreshed well each day. Parking was easy at the hotel, and the hotel was clean everywhere. We will definitely stay here and at other LaQuinta’s in the future.

I was very impressed with this location. The room was very clean, comfortable bed, the shower had very good water pressure for a hotel! Also the continental breakfast is the best I’ve ever had. It was actual cooked breakfast. Eggs, seasons diced potatoes, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, then the normal bagels, yogurt, fruit etc., and it was delicious. I was most impressed. I will stay here again for sure.
