We were making last minute plans and found this place, “Canyon River Lodge” for two nights at a great price! It was near the town center. It was very clean and bed was very comfortable. The room was small but we only needed a place to sleep and shower. We were here to see the sights! Coffee 24hrs. No food, being on vacation we go out to eat rather than eat hotel food. PERFECT for us.

I normally stay at certain chain hotels but based on reviews, pictures, and cost chose Canyon Lodge (just a 1 night stopover). It was a good choice! Hotel is right in the heart of Moab, just 1/2 block off main. Quiet, secure, and clean. The bathroom has all newer features. The entire hotel is quaint and an up north cabin feel. The one thing to note is the rooms are small so they don’t have a couch or upholstered chair. There is a nice desk chair & desk, large TV mounted on wall, suitcase stand, hooks for jackets & purses, larger fridge, small closet. The artwork was all local. Overall I would stay here again even for a longer stay.

The gentleman working desk the evening of check-in was the bomb!! His actions showed how much he cared for his customers with wilingness to go above and beyond to ensure their satisfaction.
