Modern Farmhouse Cottage on 45 acres~Hot Tub, Fire Pit đŸ”„

Enjoy one level living in this updated and stylish cozy cottage. Have a cup of coffee on the porch in the rocking chairs with a mountain view đŸ”ïž or a hike on the trail in the woods past the creek. Relax and unwind in the hot tub 🛁
The home sits on a large field where you are sure to spot deer, turkey and other wildlife. The fire pit area is the perfect spot to watch the leaves change and corn grow đŸŒœ
There are flat screen TVs in every room for streaming, 2 comfortable queen size beds and lots of seating area in the living room.

Each door on the porch opens to a separate bedroom, so getting in and out is convenient. Each door is equipped with its own smart lock for easy access, and for extra security (if you have little ones) an extra dead bolt that locks from the inside.

The cottage is best suited for small families, couples or those traveling for work.

The home has been completely renovated and remodeled in Spring 2023– so everything is brand new.

This is a duplex unit but is still very private! Separate driveway, separate entrances, and you cannot see the front entrances from each unit. Bushes and trees line the front yard to add extra privacy between the two. There is a full time tenant living in the other duplex, who is kind and keeps to herself. The cottage is also sound proof.

What a wonderful vacation stay!

I would definitely recommend this house. Location was convenient to town and Smith Mountain Lake. The hot tub was fabulous. Everything in the house is nice and new. We had a great time!

Golden View Cottage

Property was very clean and inviting. The house supplied everything you could need and the host was amiable and quick to answer any questions. Most of all, we appreciated the fact that our two dogs were allowed to come also. The firepit looked invitig, but due to rain, we didn't get to enjoy that.Would definitely recommend this cozy cottage to travelers as it is centrally located between SML and the Harvester Performance Theater. Kudos to Taylor.

Last minute Trip to the Lake

We had a last-minute opportunity for a weekend getaway to Smith Mountain Lake and came across Taylor’s listing—so glad we did! The place was absolutely beautiful, spacious, and had everything we needed to feel right at home. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you’d need to cook a meal, which was a huge plus. The location is also amazing—peaceful and perfectly situated to enjoy the lake and surrounding area. Taylor was responsive and made everything super easy. Would definitely recommend and hope to come back again!

Adorable Cottage

Adorable cottage in a country setting. Very peaceful and picturesque. Perfect home away from home for my 2 pups and myself. Enjoyed hiking through the woods on the property and the hot tub. Cottage is stocked with everything you need. Taylor was great and very responsive.

We loved our quick stay in Glade Hill! In town for a state bowling tournament, the location was great and the accommodations made for a restful night that we SO needed. The hot tub was a great way to relax after a long day. 10/10 recommend and will definitely try to stay here again if in the area.

Super nice and clean VRBO!

We were in town for a show at The Coves at Smith Mountain Lake. The venue was only 18 minutes from the cottage. It was SUPER clean and very nice. The outdoor space was also excellent. Hosts were very quick to respond to questions. Beds were very comply and there was a nice tv in every room (in both bedrooms) Would absolutely stay here again!!

Lovely Place!

Only got to stay 1 night at this cozy spot but thoroughly enjoyed the stopover. The hot tub felt amazing after a long day on the road. The property itself is great with a trail that meanders along a babbling spring flowing down the valley. Everything was perfect!

We came to VA for a wedding and the location was not to far from store supermarkets eateries
 The property offered much relaxation, quiet, cleanliness and so much more amenities. The beds are like sleeping in a cloud.. Absolutely recommend booking this property if you need quiet time. We will be visiting again and booking this property again.

This house is a GEM!

I cannot say enough about how great this house is! It’s spotless and decorated exactly how I have my own home so that helps lol. The hot tub is great along with the fire pit. If we are ever back in the area we will definitely stay again. Thank you for such a great weekend!
