Holiday Flat With Sea Views

Completely self-contained ground floor holiday casita, forming part of a large old cortijo, set on a small private road with 4 houses. The house is set amongst trees and has wonderful sea views from the large sunbathing terrace on the roof. Guests also have the use of a large barbecue area on the first floor of the property. It is within walking distance of Mojacar beach and a 5 minute drive from the historic Mojacar Pueblo dating back to the fifteenth century. A new Aldi is also only a ten minute walk away. Both the beach and the village offer lots of shops, restaurants and bars. The living area has a sofa bed and French windows lead outside.
There is a large double bedroom with ensuite and a small kitchenette, with large fridge/freezer, small oven, microwave, toaster, electric kettle etc. Guests are very welcome to have private use of the larger terrace, on the second floor. There is A/C provided and Wifi.
Suitable for two adults over 25 or a young family.

A lovely place to rest

We have loved being here. The house has a very evocative rustic style. It is a super quiet place between the beach and the village. The only downside is that if you need a living room, it becomes small when you open the sofa bed and the kitchen is also very small, but for the time we have been there we have managed well. As for Christine, she is lovely, she is there for whatever you need, she made check-in very easy for us. Beautiful retreat Christine! Thanks once again!

Overall we had a nice stay but description of the apartment is so misleading. No sea view unless you went to the roof top. . The most disappointing was the seating area outside the apartment, you looked out on old dilapidated houses and dirt track. Host was lovely and friendly

Gorgeous traditional house

The property was a traditional Spanish house with many original features. The main room was an attractive mix of antique chairs dressers and tables with a comfortable sofa. The bathrooms were beautiful, tiled in old style Spanish tiles as a backdrop to modern bathroom fittings. Overall the situation was peaceful and quiet. Chris was friendly and helpful in guiding us to find our way around and organizing the recycling. We had a lovely gentle stay. A car is needed if you want calmer waters to swim in as the local coastline is quite choppy. The old town is delightful and a must.

Tranquilidad

Fuimos 4 personas (2 adultos con 2 niñas) y nos apañamos bastante bien. El sitio es muy tranquilo ya que esta situado en un camino entre medias del pueblo como de la playa, se puede ir andando a ambos sitios pero es recomendable el coche ya que Mojacar es todo cuestas. Christine es super amable y educada, tiene unos gatitos q a mis hijas les encantaban, en especial Miny que ya era como nuestra mascota. En definitiva, relax y ningĂșn problema en este apartamento que es tal y como pone en las fotos Christine.

peace & quiet

lovely quiet location - needed some peace after 3 weeks on the front in Marbella. A lovely little place hidden away in the woods - small but with everything you need for a stay (I stayed for1 week). I was using the place as a base for viewing possible properties to buy - for which it was ideal. close enough to the main roads to get anywhere quickly and far enough away from them to not hear them. Christine was also a very nice and friendly host - although I did not see much of her even though she lives in the same rural building as this apartment.

Pequeñito pero acogedor y cuco

El apartamento es ideal porque se encuentra entre MojĂĄcar pueblo y MojĂĄcar playa. No es necesario tener coche para moverse aunque sĂ­ recomendable. La habitaciĂłn es muy acogedora y el salĂłn aunque pequeñito dispone de un sofĂĄ cama cĂłmodo pero que ocupa todo el espacio si lo dejas abierto durante el dĂ­a. Los baños estĂĄn limpios y disponen de toallas, jabĂłn de manos, gel de ducha y champĂș que es todo un detalle. Sin embargo, el agua de la ducha se queda un poco estancada y es que el desagĂŒe estĂĄ algo atascado. La cocina se encuentra al exterior del apartamento y al principio parece pequeña pero es muy funcional y tiene casi de todo. Las sartenes estĂĄn pidiendo renovarse y es que estĂĄn un poco antiguas y deformadas impidiendo que el calor se propague por igual en todas sus zonas. La dueña Christine, es amable y discreta y aunque vive en la parte de arriba apenas se la siente. Calidad-precio inmejorable, lo recomiendo al 100%

ValoraciĂłn

Christine ha sido muy amable y atenta durante toda la estancia. Queremos destacar que el alquiler es de la parte baja de la casa y no toda la casa cómo nosotras pensåbamos, ya que Crhistine se aloja arriba. Para ir a la playa o a Mojåcar pueblo utilizamos el coche, se tardan 5 min aproximadamente. La cocina es pequeña y se encuentra fuera de la casa, pero tiene lo suficiente para cocinar y pasar unos días geniales de vacaciones. Gracias Christine por todo!

Really great apartment.

Although the kitchen was tiny, the rest of the rooms were comfortable. We wish the apartment had be situated nearer the beaches to avoid driving all days to them. Important to mention was the attention received from Christine, she was always we need something.

I found my new home!

My trip was a fact finding mission, as I was looking for a new home in the Mojacar area. Chris was an amazing host and without her help and knowledge of the area my stay definitely wouldn’t have been so enjoyable. The apartment is in a great location between the Pueblo and the Playa and the property itself has been beautifully restored by Christine. I can’t wait to see her again on my return, as I did find a property in the Playa and look forward to returning the hospitality she showed me.

Geschmackvoll eingerichtete Wohnung im Erdgeschoss eines Cortijos. Betten sehr bequem, KĂŒche in separatem halboffenen Raum. Ca. 15 Minuten Fußweg aufwĂ€rts zum MojĂĄcar Pueblo gelegen. Sehr nette und hilfsbereite englische Vermieterin. Ideal fĂŒr ruhesuchende GĂ€ste, es gibt keinerlei StraßenlĂ€rm. Wir haben uns wohlgefĂŒhlt.

Lovely, well equipped house

Just back from 12 days at this property in Mojacar. The house is comfortable, full of character and well-equipped. Situated in a quiet spot 15 minutes from the beach it is perfect for a relaxing holiday. The host Christine is very welcoming and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We will be going back again soon.
