The staff couldn't coordinate with each other and they were overall very unprofessional, we used to stay there on our drives to California. They will no longer be getting business from us. A hotel down the street was were we stayed and they were extremely accommodating. Do not recommend.

No Bad

The front desk was very friendly, the room was clean and available on time. The only issue I had was the Wi-Fi was down, disappointing. Other than that I would definitely stay there again.

It’s actually the best place for the price. The bed is nice and firm, very comfortable. The place is old but clean. Everything works. No shampoo, bring your own, just soap. TV has HBO, microwave, refrigerator and ice did freeze water bottle. The Ice machine actually has plenty of ice. AC works perfectly. Now, there is a railroad in the back would run every 20 minutes or so, bring your ear plugs if you need total silence to sleep. Coffee in the morning is ok. Plenty of vending machine in the office area.

The room smelled like ten yrs of sweat, room wasn’t cleaned, among other issues. Frankly didn’t expect much at this location but at least a clean room would be decent.

Asking what is unique about a Motel 6 is a contradiction in terms. It was a Motel 6. We stay there when we are transporting our cats. Some versions of Motel 6 are better than others: our stay in a Tuscaloosa, AL version was at the top of our experiences this time. A stay in Texas was middlin' good. Our stay at the Mojave, CA Motel 6 on State Road 58 was okay. We arrived late, having made reservations the day before. We, and our cats, and all their equipment, were placed in a second floor room, which required lots of hauling. Because we had animals, the room we were assigned was in "needy" shape. Though basically clean, the bed linens were worn, with cigarette butt holes. The toilet looked like it hadn't been scrubbed under the rim for some time, and the corners of the floor had collected crumbs of this and that over time. It was more "bare bones" than many. Everything worked, though.

The maids were phenomenal they constantly came to ask if we needed anything and offered to clean our room daily in a lot of places they only come once a week but they were consistent and nice. The owner or whoever he is was rude to me and my children and wouldn't let them in the pool, the door on our room was busted so we had to switch rooms. The room wasn't as big as the picture shows but they did have a fridge and microwave which was convenient overall stay at your own will but I'd suggest not staying too long maybe a day or two the train is right next to the room and that's very noisy
