Monroe Guest House- hiking, biking, hot springs, ATV, fishing, Nat'l Parks
The cottage has been completely redone inside and out. New landscaping and a huge cookout area with a grill and picnic table make the outdoor space beautiful. Enjoy the fire pit in the evening as you watch the sun set behind the mountains.
This cottage is close to ATV trails, mountain biking, a paved bike path and fishing. It is easy to get to from I-70. It is a family friendly and pet friendly home.
- WiFi - Fully stocked kitchen - Washer/Dryer - Large Barbecue area - Fire pit area
We had a wonderful weekend trip! The house looked small from the outside, but more spacious on the inside and plenty of space to accommodate four people and two dogs. Everything was clean and organized. We cooked some meals in the kitchen and enjoyed marshmallows over the fire pit (courtesy of Julia). The two hot springs were within a 5-10 min drive from the house and we had a lovely soak at both! Beds were comfortable and we liked the new appliances. Only thing to take note is the neighborhood has off-leash dogs that roam around the streets, so keep an eye out when you walk outside at night. Thereâs also several dogs at the houses next door, so there was lots of barking. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and appreciate all the cozy amenities!
The property was accurately described. The problems I had in communicating with the host ahead of time was my own lack of online experience, I'm sure. However, it would have been nice to have a way to talk to her when we were there. The neighborhood dogs barked all night long the first night, so we went to the police in Richfield, who directed us to call the county Sheriff. After that it was better. The directions on the refrigerator told us to strip the beds and put the linens in the laundry hamper, but there was no hamper. Otherwise, everything was good.
This is the house my mother was born in (in 1932). It was my grandmaâs house and I have a few memories of it as a child. Then it became my uncles house and I visited often. I was so exited to be back in it and the host has done wonderful things with it. The stove is the same stove my grandma had put in in the early 1900âs. I loved my stay and canât wait to get back.
We had a great time on our 1st Vrbo experience.
The Monroe house was a comfy & clean little house. Very nicely decorated. The host was very helpful and quick to reply. The area was a great base for all our exploring. Definitely saving this place for future trips.
We booked this house to be close to family camping at Castle Rock in the Freemont Indian State Park. The house was very clean and comfortable. It was close to Mystic Hot Springs, which was so fun. I would recommend this house.
The house was clean and gave us plenty of room to spread out. The first night was a bit chilly because we hadnât found the extra blankets in the closet. Julia was very quick to respond to any of my inquiries.
The house was super cute and the kids loved it. They thought the old stove was super cool and I agreed. Very tasteful and clean. I didnât give it 5 stars because I felt like the house was lacking in security due to the fact that neither deadbolt is functional and the strikers donât properly seat. Pretty minor stuff. All in all was a great stay!
Very comfortable small house in a quiet neighborhood. Slept well. Cooked a meal in the kitchen which is well appointed. Just a short drive to Mystic Hotsprings.
We loved the 2 bedroom cottage. It fit my husband and I as well as my elderly mother. We were also able to bring our dog. It was so comfortable we wish we could have stayed longer.
Place was a total gem - the perfect place to work remote between Zion and SLC weekends. Host did not send the code ahead of our arrival, but was very responsive and picked up our call on the first try. Would 100% return!
